Gratefulforhelp Happy Birthday :bdaycake:hope you had a lovely day.
Haven't managed anything else today except washing and i don't think i'll be doing anything else tonight.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

LadyLib - I have a better idea, forget the standard wheelchair and get one of those electric scooter types. Then you can customise it by removing the seat and replacing with a Harley King and Queen one and Harley handlebars. Much more your style I think ;)

Kaz How appropriate....why didn't I think of that  you have a good memory :D

Thanks L-L - let us know how you get on - and enjoy the pimping of your ride! And don't think of it as an enemy. I know when my Dad got to a certain point of his illness and couldn't get out and about without the aid of some wheels, he found it, once he got over the initial pride bit, a liberating experience.

I have very fond memories of being out with him one day when we were at the top of a steep road. He just freewheeled down that hill like there was no tomorrow and left me standing. I can still picture him now - it was like the rebellious streak came out in him and I smile as I remember it :)
