Just grabbing 5 minutes while eating tea, found some chinese stle things in the bottom of the freezer.....yuk....not nice + they must have been there a long time as all dry. Pleased was only enough for me. Trying to get the freezer totally empty for Xmas stuff.

carlsberggal always tricky posting on other boards when you are used to the wonderful people in here ((hugs))
Aww hex that sounds like a right pain, maybe ban him from more work until he can do it in the garage as it can't be nice for you or the children living in dust
    tc3061 don't worry I haven't started on Monday yet really :o
JillD not nice when things like that happen, I will be honest we don't have a will or guardians set for the boys. We all have family members who annoy us sometimes x I have an uncle who called me the 'screaming sh*tting machine' who doesn't have children, sent me £100 on my 18th as I was an adult then so he would speak to me...he's a wealthy businessman who just can't tolerate kids @ all.
Dusty my oldest just likes factual books, Horrible History/Science etc is his favourite. Only fiction he reads is Dr Who, Star Wars etc but not the stories the facts books.
AnWsMum ((fluffy hugs)) we are all allowed days like that
Pink don't loose faith, I am sure it didn't get unperfect in a day so it won't get perfect in one either x
    SGT Happy Birthday
poohbear if you can brave it have a look on the forum ones like www.dogpages.org.uk or similar as there is usually dogs in foster who are in homes rather than kennels, just thinking with your health a problematic pooch might be more harm than good
embb hope DD is better today & it stops soon, must say if someone did that to me I'd have slapped them back too

Been to Toyrus. Looked on the shelf....no Lego police trucks left ARGH all sold out....got myself in a right tizzy then a member of staff went to look. They found 3 left yippee!!! They were the last ones in before the red suited fella arrives. DP was eyeing up the Millenium Falcon last night, wanted it for DS2 but I said no as it was £150 and a bit big to hide from the boys on the way home. Went today HALF PRICE! So that's the boys a main present each as DS2 has the train set which was also half price. They don't have a lot so far, 1 large and 3 smaller gifts but we're going to see what others get them before deciding on anything else, have got DPs Dad to put them in their house for now :) saves me the worry of hiding them here.

Realised I have a lumisketcher spare as was for Matthew but he's still a bit little & his Mam wants a portable DVD for him instead so DPs cousins boy can have that. I know what I am buying my Dad & his GF, tickets for the Elizabethan banquet at the castle as I know he was talking about how wonderful it is (I've paid for him to go with Mum before which is a little odd) the rest of the family I have nooooo idea.

Flying 3 boxes decluttered to garage, I side of kitchen done :o 2 laundry (need to do another in a mo) DW on now which will need empty/refill. I need to sort through some more boxes tonight, shower, more in kitchen etc. Unfortunately my arms going batty which is hindering things a little. Best get the boys to bed then make a start.

Oh I forgot WASPS does anyone know any pest sites? We keep getting wasps in the house about once a week which is so odd this time of year. They are huge too.
One day I might be more organised...........

DS1 has just announced over the baby monitor that I don't need to go in and check on him before I go to bed. Don't you wish you could see through walls sometimes?

Lil_me - I know but he is making my kitchen cupboards (picture of the first door on facebook) so I don't want to be ungrateful and moan about the mess. Instead I have volunteered to help him tidy out the garage tomorrow then he has somewhere better to work than squashed in the dining room.

TD emptied and re-filled. Washing folded ready to put away. Must move it before it gets catted, dogged or sawdusted!

  • OK - quick cuppa - 80% of ironing done - will have another HHC in a few minutes. Lovely DH is making some food so I don't have to stop for too long - :j

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Second rant of the day!!!!

Why are tiscali so incompetent? We changed provider because tiscali couldn't fix a problem with our phone line. We owe them £4. I don't dispute this - I'M TRYING TO PAY IT!!!!! They keep phoning but won't speak to me because I'm not the account holder. I've offered to pay the £4 but no, that won't do. I've tried to do it online but the screen keeps going white. To top it all - I got a letter today threatening to cut us off! What a joke....they couldn't connect us when we were with them. They can't cut us off we're not with them.

    Phew.....feel better now!:D

Hello - Im sorry your not having a good day! I hope your ok in general though - love n hugs for you hun! Did you watch the DVD? What did you think compared to the book? There is no rush for them - just whenever you are ready. xx

Thanks for the hugs, really appreciated :) The DVD was great, had me in floods of tears but I loved it :D so much so that I saw it for sale while we were on hols and got my own copy. Quite different from the book but essentially the same if that makes sense lol

DS decluttered to cubs but managed to stress me out totally first. I really try not to do stress but ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! .................. 2 minutes before cubs I went to find out what he was doing and he said 'i've not got ready because I don't have my things!' Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I reckon Miss A and your DS must be twins! I asked her to get cub stuff ready before dinner last night. When it was time to go she said she was not ready and didn't know where her jumper or necker were, to say I was  is a slight under statement!

Step count 11524 and zero flying on account of the fact that we went up to MIL's, not been up for ages. Now I am going to chill with some Stella and Holby.

How has it gone today toots? Hope you managed to get some rest in between all the visitors and decorating.

Mudders - consider your bill paid - they owed me £4-odd BUT sent a cheque to my house in Ex OHs name - I sent it back and asked for a new one in my name two years ago. I am still waiting:rolleyes: for the amount I am owed I CBA with the hassle...

actually I have just checked - it's £4.83 and I wrote in August 2008. I might write a letter of complaint just for the sheer hell of it!

AnW'sMum- it's not just me then! I've just gone upstairs and he's stuck stickers all over his newly painted wall. He never even did that as a toddler. Me thinks he is trying to push a few buttons tonight!

Valli - so annoying. I know it's not much but I don't want to get bad credit because they won't let me pay the bill. I'm waiting for the letter to say they've cut us off when they've never actually managed to connect us properly. Oh well - keeps me busy!

[STRIKE]Clear D[/STRIKE]D's room (this will take most of the day)

    Christmas list
Buy last 3 bits for hamper for in-laws (needs to be done by Thursday)
Print of Christmas card list and add/delete
Empty wardrobe, drawers etc of unwrapped presents - sort and wrap
Take presents to parents that they've bought for children

    Tuesday's list is completed!!!!!!

I really want to go to bed.....would anyone mind popping round at about ten to let the dogs out and put them to bed? DH is away so i'll have to stay up if no-one volunteers! xx
  • Well I'm slacking a bit this week already but have done level one plus a few extras, so at least house is looking clean :D
