    Clear and wipe work surfaces

Unfortunately, behind my dining table had become one of those 'hot spots' and there was lots to move. I admit that I have bagged a lot of it up and moved it to another room, but having just moved bedroom at the weekend I'm ok with this. So it took longer to declutter the floor, but it's nice to see it all clear now - and fully hoovered! And going to bed knowing my kitchen floor has been cleaned is a nice feeling. Did manage to load dishwasher and wipe sides I could see, but got a pile of clean washing that needs folding, letters from school to deal with (get far too many!) and bits and pieces that have gravitated there cluttering up the other sides, but once these have been dealt with I can fully clean all the work surfaces.

So tomorrow I plan to work on level one of Tuesday and finish level one from today.

Still feeling positive about housework (weird feeling for me lol)

Got your pm thanks toots :xmastree:
  • Apologies, I've still got pages and pages to read! I went to see my friend today who recently moved to near E. Grinstead, because she got married. Had quite an easy journey there, just over an hour, and we had a lovely morning. I had planned to be home by about 3ish, but she had to go to Lewes for an appointment, so I offered to take her. And while I was waiting in the car for her I listened to the radio for an hour, and the battery on the car went flat! Yikes! Phoned DH, he said find a slope and roll down and jump start the car. So we turned the car round by pushing it back and forth, and then we pushed it up a hill and I couldn't get it to start. And we stopped near the entrance to a car park and people kept shouting at us. Eventually we managed to get hold of my friend's husband and he came to rescue us (half an hour drive from where he was), and in the meantime a very kind man came and pushed us out of the way.

I can't believe how rude people were to us! There was space to go round us, lots of people did, but one woman just stopped and abused us! I'm ashamed to say I did reply to her, not rudely, but I was shouting, mainly to get my point across over the top of her shouting: I didn't chose to break down, and it's not my fault the barrier came down on her car!

I got home at 7:30! So terribly tired now, hoping to have a lie in tomorrow and then do some gentle flying. All that stress, and my friend was in tears at people shouting, and it was all my fault really.

Hugs Lady Liberty, hope you were able to catch up on some sleep today. Well done on your star, that’s fab! xx

Dusty, sweet story about the football boy – he scored a hat trick! Not so rubbish after all! It sounds like someone was in your house, could they have locked the door to give themselves time to get out the window without being caught? Maybe they heard you coming back and didn’t have time to take anything? I would call the police. ETA: just seen Greenbee and Tag agree!

Big hugs Poohbear am here if you need to PM me and off load! Thinking of you and DH and everyone

Pigpen is Noel one of your kids or a cat? Hope he comes home eventually

I'm in the process of trying to change my name on my paypal account to my married name, as it will only send the money to a bank account in the same name - and my paypal is in my maiden name and my bank is in my married name! Have to fax Paypal the docs, need to find a fax machine somewhere! Pleased my paypal account is so nice and full of lovely money!
