*creeps in hopefully unobserved and gets to grips with the list as she has been awol*

I have been productive, although not as productive as I would have liked to be. Last week I think disappeared from me so I shall write that one off as a dead loss..lol

Today I ordered nearly all of DH's Christmas presents online, only have a couple of little things to get him. Also treated myself to a couple of bits too. I have listed several books on Amazon, and hopefully shall be able to list some more before or just after Christmas.

We were going to get a little kitten in a couple of weeks but the owner has given him away to someone else, even though she knew we wanted him.. So now my friend is keeping an eye out to see if any others pop up.. If not I will pop over to the CPL after Christmas and see what they have.

I am going to try and submerse myself in the housework and ironing etc tomorrow as it's the 3rd anniversary of Mum's passing :( I have got the flowers all sorted and ready to take to the crematorium tomorrow morning, where I shall have a quiet time with her and then I will pop to Sainsburys and have one of their brunchs' while reading a book/magazine I think. Then back to do ironing and housework. We are going to have a fish and chip supper for tea tomorrow, in honour of Mum. This is what we had when she died and it's a weird tradition I have kept going..

Welcome to all the newbies, you'll love it here :D

Mind you, she did say today that if I had any ideas on changing processes to let her know. Maybe I'll do a time/motion/efficiency report which will demonstrate that the department could function equally well with about 1/3 of the staff.......:D

oooh I want to read that - I picked it up in smiths, looked at the price and put it back again *sigh*
I've nearly finished... if you promise to send it back I can lend it to you (it's actually my dad's:o)

kazm - you do know you can have new toes put on don't you :p;):D

sexymouse - I agree with grateful - you need to find 10 minutes to hide in the cupboard and call the union.

toots - I thought you weren't supposed to have too much sugar either... believe me, given the amount of icing and butter cream, there's not much else to that cake!

Not much flying done, as I left the office late. I want to get a few bits of work done before I go to bed too - inspiration hasn't exactly struck, but I need to get some stuff moving. However, none of downstairs is too disastrous after the weekend blitz. It's really the ironing that's the problem... so I'll have to tackle it soon!
  • Thanks everyone for the hugs, I'm sending them out to everyone who needs them too.

Had HM spag bol for dinner and it was goooood. I spent lots of time doing it properly, and Boyf said it's the best spag bol he's ever had. :o Cleaned a lot of the kitchen while it was cooking. The dining table needs decluttering and the floor needs scrubbing but thats all thats left.

ETA: Is it possible I have OCD ????

The other week at work i was filling up the 'Chuppa' lollypops and had the urge to arganise them. My cupboards are like that film 'Sleeping with the enemy' and the fridge when it has food in looks like a supermarket fridge all in lines.
