Oh forgot to add its a very sad day, my trusty old boots have come to the end of their life and need decluttering to the bin. I'm afraid after numerous reheels and a colour change wth a permanent marker (dont ask) they have finally worn through the leather on the toes. The £70 spent 22 years ago  was well worth it. Strange that the new ones ordered with the paypal funds have been despatched today :rotfl:
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

kaz thanks for your kind words, and I bought some new boots last week, for £200 and the insole came unstuck after 5 days! straight back they have gone.

sexy hugs, lovely. I know you guys in primary work way way harder than us slackers in secondary, but can you, at lunchtime, go sit in your car/someone else's car/go for a walk/lock yourself in cupboard and ring the union.

jilld bravo! for arranging your will, and keeping it updated.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Give me strength!!!! DH just decided tonight to FINALLY get round to putting another shelf in his wardrobe (piece of wood has been ready for ages) but the shelf needed cutting. So he used a drawer on the filing cabinet to balance on and yes, you've guessed it, he also sawed through part of the drawer!! Will this get me out of filing tasks for a while???:rotfl:Yes, this is the same DH who took the Xmas tree to the tip - with all its decorations and lights on. What have I done to deserve this ?

I don't think I'm doing to bad....although two looooooong days at work are looking so I might have to play catch up on Thursday...you never know, I might get a star if I'm lucky.

Hugs to everyone...seems to be some pains and lurgies around.

Sexymouse, I know very little about the world of education and its differences from the nasty hard ar**ed world of contracting I work in but that is just intolerable in any industry. Feel free to PM me if I can help with legal side, but like I say I don't really understand how it works in public sector.

I absolutely have to iron, but I simply cannot be bothered.

One of my lovely colleagues has texted me to warn me the heating has failed and it is freezing at work. I am interviewing so need to combine professional with warm. Lots and lots of layers I think. Which means ironing. Yawns......

erm - some of us match our pegs so that you don't have, say, a red and a blue peg on one item of clothing. Some of us (well me for one) only have one colour of peg...I do like things to look nice but I am[STRIKE] REALLY odd [/STRIKE] 'special' ;) because I like to iron and iron almost everything...

Valli I love you, I really really do :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I also Iron my duvets and pillowcases/valance sheets so there :p I admitted it out loud and would never dream of it any other way

I do that with the pegs, I just shouted out loud THEY DO THAT WITH THE PEGS, THEY DO THAT WITH THE PEGS!!!! :T:T:T

My DH calls me Monica (from Friends) because of my [STRIKE]weird [/STRIKE] "special" things I like to do like

The pegs (Same as you special ladies) :rotfl:
The cutlery (In the order of Knives, Forks Big Spoons, Wee Spoons)
The towels (Folded in a special way)
The Canisters (In the order of Coffee, Tea, Sugar)
CD's (In the order of the artist) although most of them are now in my ipod

Sorry if so OT but I am so so happy (how [STRIKE]sad[/STRIKE] "special " am I)

macpep I believe you are in very good company.

    Happily not me though :D

I am a self confessed disorganised slob with no attention to detail whatsoever.

and I am proud of it :p

I do own some pegs - value wooden ones that are used to stop cereal from going soft.

Just iron say the top 2 :p unless you think the heating will be fixed and you can face sweating like a maniac whilst interviewing with layers of clothes on, my goodness am panicking even thinking about that what is wrong with me why would I even suggest that when I would never do that myself
