Thanks piggers and Diva and everyone else for the football teasing advie, I hadnt thought of getting the coach to do a team chat and its a route DH will be happy with , name calling tit for tat and giving as good as he gets is not a route he would take (and I wouldnt esp. like it either), this feels like a great solution , so thankyou very much :)

Thanks vanilla as well. Def wont talk to the parents!!!

kaz - yes DH could practice with him, great idea. We even bought a new football on the weekend that is "the right size". We live opposite a massive field/open spac which is perfect. Just need the weather  (mind you I dont suppose DS would care if it was a blizzard...)

Dusty - the team is new this year and they have only just enough players so without DS the team can't play. They operate an "everyone has a turn" policy so at worst you only get half a game and DS is happy even with that. So far their ethos seems to be have fun (the info sheet says " the most important thing is for the boys to enjoy themselves and look forward to playing..... remember criticism helps noone.") Most of the parents seem fairly chilled but there are exceptions of course. We know most of them from school, its not a school team but most of the boys are from school as word got around about a new team.

Agree with whoever said how will he improve without practice.

Who needs parenting forums when we have the MSE flyladies , thankyou all so much, I feel so much better now that I have a plan :)

mo5 - no advice but very impressed that your boys can throw as high as a 3 storey house!!!

pooh - hope you are ok ((hugs)). The glue is the most important bit., As you know without it, everything is just falls apart. (Great analogy BTW)

toots - hope having workmen around the place isnt tiring you out

piggers - is the festive gnome pattern online at all?

smartie and zoe hope you feel better soon

Right I need to get them out of the house for swimming at 5. Groan I hate leaving the house again when its dark

Hi all, well another day at work done. Was an earlier start today which I couldn't manage....had my epsom salt bath and slept like a baby.:D Could not wake up this morning, took me ages to get out of bed.:o

Did I mention I saw my specialist ME/Lymes doc last week, anyway on another 3 months of antibiotics and Low Dose Naltrexone to hopefully blitz the infection.
He was very pleased with my progress so far which is good to hear. He also recommended Magnesium which he said was an essential part of my recovery so need to get that.

So came home and had an hours nap, feel loads better and need to get on with tea in a mo. We'll have curry from my batch cooking *cue smug look*, I'm never this organised.

Also need to hang out the towels as they need to go over the banister and our toilet stinks...need a good spoldge of Harpic I think.

I am taking it easy guys, I am listening and going to try and take it fairly easy this week. I definately think the lack of sunshine has a massive effect as I was fairly great whilst we were in Vegas.....not jumping about obviously but doing a lot of walking.

Anyways....Pigpen pwease will you make me a Gnome.....I love them.:smileyhea

Did you sort out Uni in the end.....did you ever track down your elusive Tutor?

Oh and DD1 starts a course tomorrow, fingers and everything else crossed that this will help her on her way with training.

Neighbour has been over and pput a ladder up and DS2 went in up and in. How the lock got put on I don't know.

Just going to do yet another paint sample test on DS2 wall and then kids off the playstation and doing homework whilst I cook dinner. I'll do the floor when DS3 is at beavers

Greenbee, I survived work once I got there half an hour late - absolute traffic chaos in town this morning..... and yes, I do have t'internet access at work but unfortunately the position of my desk in the open plan office makes it too risky to go off piste!

    Hugs Pooh xxx

Toots - no worries about post 3 - if I see it, I'll blag it just in case

Carol22 - big hugs love, it's a very distressing time for you

Dusty - that's strange about the bathroom. Maybe you DID have a visitor, but the alarm fooled them... or, perhaps someone left the bathroom window open a bit, a big gust of wind lifted it more, blew in, slammed the bathroom door shut and the action of slamming made the lock drop?

I shall start doing some low level flying I think. My ankle's protesting a bit this evening because I had to wait so long for the bus this morning and there's no seat there so I need to rest it.

Seems like an age ago I was on here.

Decluttered a bag of frazzles and 2 bags of french fries for my lunch :o

Sorted the socks then offered to go and pick up DD and her friend (we usually do the morning run and they do the afternoon) as it was tipping down and I could take the car where she doesnt drive so that was another hour gone. Well you have to go early to park as there are 2 primary schools at the bottom of a dead end .
Came back and sorted the underwear which has now all been reloacted with the socks to relevant bedrooms.
Dont have much of the list left which has to be a rarity and at the moment I actually feel ok.

smartie12 hope you feel better after the 1.gif
