It's funny the little things we find out about each other...i'm impressed!

This is starting to remind me of last Christmas....buying presents....wrapping stuff and me stoned out of my face on Christmas Eve giving you all a running commentary of where Santa was. You were all mad busy and I just kind of floated through Christmas....not a bad way to be (now did I keep any of those painkillers in reserve!!!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:xx

Rain is pretty heavy here too tonight.

Have watched a couple of things off the sky box, including last week's casualty. Have drunk several cups of roiboos tea (trying to keep alcohol to an occasional treat to help the weight loss) and hung up today's walking clothes which were bundled straight in the washer when we got home.

DH is making noises about not coming with me to my friends' tomorrow . Hopefully he will come, it will be hard to explain if not!! He just finds two smallish boys hard work (no hope for him if we have kids then!), but I will be pointing out how often I make the effort to spend time with his mates....

I remember that too! Ahhh, nostalgia, such a wonderful thing. Was it really a year ago you were recovering?

TBH.. I don't care what he does as far as I am concerned.. but the children just cannot understand why he isn't seeing them.. they are asking me to ask him.. I ask him, he says no.. them they feel sad.. it is really difficult.

I will see a solicitor but it won't be in the next few days. I am run off my feet this week too!!

He is refusing to see the children to make me suffer I think.. but I don't mind having them 99.9999% of the time.. it is them who are missing him and he won't be made to see it.

Though, they also get most distressed and confused when he is slating me and OH to them.. obviously the children don't understand and it just confuses and upsets them. That is one reason DD1 doesn't want to spend as much time with him as the others do. though she is 15 and quite capable of walking to his house should she want to, and I wouldn't stop her.

Apparently he has slandered me to everyone who would stand still long enough.. but that is less significant than water off a ducks back, the people who matter to me know what went on.

He has text me a list of stuff that he wants from the house.. fine, less crap in here for me to store! He wants the video camera apparently.. but not until I have copied ALL he videos from it.. there are all the last few christmases on there and some of Tiddles when she was very new. Some other stuff I have no idea where it is and other stuff I have no idea what he is on about! lol.

Enough about him.. he has had enough of my thoughts for today.

Washing up to date FINALLY!!

My sister brought a HUUUUUUUUUUGE white cat round earlier.. apparently it has been tootling about for a couple of weeks, scavenging and looking manky.. and she thinks it is apregnant female.. looks like a boy to me but it is too scared to get near at the moment so we'll check in a day or 2.. and I'll whizz it to the vet to check for chips! It has a few big cuts on its neck and ears and it is about the size of a small Westie!!

I just needed another cat didn't I?!

Apple crumble made with the remaining apples from Halloween! Don't even ask how many we had!

Christmas tree out of box and straightened and we will dress it in the morning... I am thinking of putting up trimmings and stuff while they are at their dads... ooh.. must dig him out a tree (I have 6!) and some lights and I'm sure I have a few spare baubles.

Kitchen sink unblocked!
Airers cleared and refilled
DW unloaded and reloaded

Just stitching up my christmas gnome ready for tomorrow night when he formally 'arrives' to keep a wachful eye on the beastlets..

I will be sorting the Christmas card list on MONDAY.. so if you aren't on there and want to be please check the facebook group OR PM me ASAP!!

OH back from shop.. with chocolate mousse, bread, milk and DD1.. so I'll buzz off for a bit!

Done a bit more including a 2hr ironing stint but did have a break in between and was watching strictly at same time so kept stopping to watch!
Downstairs looks pretty good so will try to concentrate on upstairs tomorrow.
