  • I meant to say to Diva - it seems strange that you are only getting one choice of vehicle - I am guessing it may be to do with access for you in a wheelchair? sorry if i am wrong i dont mean to be nosey or offend you - I would speak to a garage who might be able to offer an alternative - thats a lot of money to put towards it and your DLA portion as well! There should be a list of participating garages in your mobility paperwork or probably online - or failing that - ring round the garages that you think you would consider and ask if they do the scheme - most of the bigger ones seem to do it now - and I know people that need wheelchair acces and havent paid that kind of money.

Glad you thought Tristan would like the joke.

Right I must get off here and go get my prescription amongst other things so bye for now!!

    toots xx

Froddington - Happy Birthday to your dad, hope he has a good day.
Wilf - well done on your son getting the golf clubs
Toots - Well actually there was a choice of three but all of them cost that much and more.. Had a really nice man come to visit and discuss it all with us and we have been searching since last March so have finally reached the end of the line. So I do understand but am just in a flat panic about the money..

Haven't caught up with the thread, just this page. :rotfl:

Ok, did well in my HHC so very pleased about that. Time to declutter a cup of redbush and a flapjack methinks.

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

Trying to do bits off my list to get as much done as possible. Need to pop out to the shops in a bit - that will be hell - and swop DS2 and DS1 over at my Mum's
