    Afternoon all

Thanks for the hugs and good wishes for W, they must have worked as he is just about back to normal :) He was a bit sick this morning but wanted a meat sandwich at lunch time. He seemed to enjoy it and he is now playing lego racers on Miss A's pc.

Unfortunately Miss A is now the sick one :( She was devastated at missing the Christmas fair today. She really wanted to go so we literally went for 30 mins and then back home. In the time we were out she saw Father Christmas and won 3 bottles of wine on the water or wine stall and she only had 3 goes on it!

Hoping that I manage to avoid the bug, so far so good.

Just skimmed the thread so congrats/hugs (masked ones)/commiserations as appropriate.

I have cat litter.. and the bits to sew my gnome together so Ic an do that later tonight.

My neck is absolutely killing me.. and making me somewhat grumpyfied!!

I am going to bath and deflea tonight I think..

I have asked XH if he wants the children tomorrow after his run.. and he hasn't got back to me.. so obviously he doesn't want to see them.. again... He isn't having them after school as he doesn't bring them home until too late on a school night.. it was 9:30pm last time!!!! so he can have them tomorrow or not at all.. and he is so desperate to see them he 'can't' have them next Friday as he has booked to go to a concert or something.. nice to know where his priorities lie! *rant rant rant*

Right.. loo, food, laundry (again!!) bath, deflea and bed... THEN I can do whatever I please.. :D

Just caught up. I really felt down yesterday - not black dog, but definitely a shade of grey. I know that the accident in school wasn't my fault, but I've never had anything happen before that needed an ambulance callled and I felt really badly about it. Thank you for the hugs!

I did precisely no work yesterday as the school server was down, and there was a great list of things on email when it was back today, so I've been working loads today, and will have to work most of tomorrow as well - had hoped to go out in the afternoon, but that's not going to happen.

I did go into town to meet DD from work - she's just started a Christmas job in a card shop - massively busy. We managed to find a really nice top for my niece, and my sister has just sent me a few more ideas for herself we're having a family get-together for a meal on 12th, so a tight deadline to meet.

    Evening all

I've had a lovely day out with DH. Went for a walk, about 12 miles of thames path, only 3 walks and we'll have finished the whole thing (over 180 miles!). Have had a bath and am now in my pjs. AF has turned up, a day earlier than expected but in a way I didn't feel as uncomfortable as usual being out and about! Think the exercise helps. DH has picked up something easy for dinner from M&S and we'll be hvaing a chilled evening. Visiting friends tomorrow, hope the car starts as I haven't used it since start of October!! Must wrap godson's birthday presents as it was his birthday on Thurs.

We've agreed to do the deep clean this week, evenings...so I'll be trying to follow all the lists, though not necessarily on the right days...I'm out Tuesday, Wed and we're both out Thurs and possibly Fri. So we'll both clean Monday and DH Tues and wed.. :D

Don't think I said, but my Thorntons order came. Have sampled one of the dark choc blocks. Mostly it's for presents though...

Cyclingyorkie – have you tried ear plugs? My stepdad snores terribly and my mum gets earplugs from the national snoring society!
    L_L have a lovely weekend
lil_me - our thermostat is firmly on 18, we have a fleecy blanket each for our legs in the evening (sounds like we're ancient not early 30s!) and it's fine actually. Not a v well insulated place either.
soappie - glad about the ankle. Advice must've changed, last time I did mine it was still to strap it up.

anyway, feel like I'm waffling....see you all later!

Cyclingyorkie is your daughter receiving any treatment for her ME hun?

I can pass on the details of Dr W. who treated me, he sends a blood testing kit which I posted back as obviously I was so ill I couldn't get out of bed, never mind travel anywhere. He's the only person whose intervention has basically restored my health. He does charge £135 for tests and phone consultation and then because its a private prescription I have to pay for my antibiotics and the Low Dose Naltrexone......but I'm up, and back to work as you're aware.

Please let me know if you want more details, as you know I'm on foggy friends as well but different user name.xxxx
Hi I would be very grateful if you could send me thouse details as well.

    Order of the day:
    [STRIKE]11-1 take DD2 to party
Lunch and dinner prep - thai red curry in slow cooker
3-4 family photo session - how exciting!
4-5 pop to asda for dinner pudding![/STRIKE]
5-7 children fed/bathed/put to bed - DH doing now, I am just going downstairs to tidy and set the table etc
7-8 get ready and do dinner
8pm onwards friends here for dinner

Photo session thingy was interesting and fun but I am totally whacked - basically an hour of keeping DS focused and get him to stop pulling silly faces, get DD1 to stop being scared and smile a bit, and stop DD2 from being an awkward whinger who kept running off. Will be interesting to see what they get out of all the shots they took!

Dinner tonight as mini popadom nibbles with chilli dipping sauce (not HM ) , grenn thai curry (HM :D) and tiramisu - made by Mr Marks and Mr Spencer :D
    Friends arriving at 8.
    Have nice evenings!

lol You read Miss A's mind! Poor W has now lost out and he was due to get the star of the week certificate :D His teacher is saving it for next week. I shall do my best not to catch it but if the worst happens Mum and Dad are only just round the corner as is my sis.

I have just cooked my first proper fish pie - made the sauce as well - and the fish was a whoopsie!

As only 2 of us eat it - previously made it with boil in the bag fish (hangs head in shame) .

Suffice to say it was the nicest fish pie ever!
