They did ask me to email my pin number  when I couldn't get through on the phone so I sent them a note back about credit card security standards :D and will keep the correspondence on file for future reference... any misuse of my card and I'll have a pretty good clue as to where it came from!
:eek: Do they think you were born yesterday?

That's what I thought, and it's now sealed and will be taken away first thing, but I'm going to be questioning them closely before they do anything else... I want to see a copy of the licence and details of where it has gone with confirmation that the person who took it away is licensed to dispose of it. The quote (just checked) specifically states a charge for an asbestos skip and licence, and a disposal cost per tonne, and I'm not paying a penny until I know its been done correctly. I have an email from them saying that they could put all the waste in one skip so I checked with SiL (who works in waste disposal) and she's pretty sure (as I thought) that you can't mix it asbestos with other waste.
Glad you are checking up on what they are doing, as I vaguely remembering seeing something on Rogue Traders about how if someone takes waste from your house and flytips it you can get into trouble. So I'm really glad you are making sure they deal with it responsibly especially with the asbestos. Keep up the good work!

Natty how are you these days?

Soappie Glad to hear it’s just a sprain and not a break

Mudders glad to hear Stripes is ok now

    Big hugs Hex xx

Hugs Wilf, even if the house is a mess, get the dripping water checked before it gets any worse and causes too much damage

    Rach, yay for your DH!

    Hugs Carlsberggal

Hope Master W is feeling much better now

Holly hope your DS’s are better soon

    welcome2.gifAshbash

Thifty hope you are better soon

Hugs Yorkie, sounds like you are worn out. Why does DH want the radio on at night? Can you get any respite care for your DD, or some help with her care from the council?

Hugs Sunnyzo, delete delete delete that number!

Hugs Dreamywings, what a shock at work, was it someone staying at the hotel or working there. How sad, glad the person is ok and hopefully they will get the support and treatment they need to recover

Have had a nice morning, DH and I went out for a bit, first we had to get a tyre, I would not have believed it was so hard to get a new tyre! We had to find a garage that a)had not moved location b)was open c)didn't want us to pay £100 for one tyre! Eventually we found a place, another branch of the one we first tried which had moved to another location! Anyway, there was a funny man in the waiting room so that kept us amused and we had a really nice morning in the end!

DH has gone out now to do a sofa swap for a mother and daughter, the daughter lives in Waterlooville so he will be out for quite a while me thinks! When he gets back, I'm going to meet him and the friend he is with at the friends house and we are going to order pizza and watch the x-factor! In the meantime, I'm going to have a very nice long nap and then wash my hair.

Have a nice day everyone! Toast is calling, I'm starving!

    Afternoon all,

Not much flying this week but at least the dining room is still tidy.

Have been to Wickes this morning with OH and we have got a couple of base units to extend the kitchen, we alo managed to get on ofcut of worktop at a local shop so the rest of the weekend will be trying to get it sorted. I'm just looking forward to having a bit of space to cook in!!

So as I have now finished lunch I had better get moving.

    Hugs to all
