i have been with bt mobile for 11 months. never been charged for 07744---- calls. i am on 150 minutes / month free minutes any network anytime. when i use 07744---next day i ring 150 and find that my minutes have been reduced.

I find Voda are useless at customer services......but if you email them from their homepage I always get a refund/sorted out.

There is a glitch with the system though (and may just be on my account) but I NEVER get a reply if I log into the site and contact them. I always do it from the homepage now and within 10 minutes get the automated reply with reference number.

I find the email team much more responsive.

    :D

i thought bt mob is piggied on to 02 or vice versa (ie the old bt cellnet)... will find time to ring c/s, but cant be bothered to wait at present!

apologies for confusing people with an omission

as jon_r points out, they used to be with O2

... but since BT and O2 got divorced, things have changed twice.
  • I'm on T-Mobile on a pay monthly 'Everyone 200 off-peak' price plan. I have been using the 07744 without problems - until yesterday!!

I phoned customer services to ask why I had been charged for calling the number last night during the off-peak period. I was told that the 07744 number is an 'international calling card' number and is charged at 12p per minute.

T-Mobile's charges leaflet does say this, but it seems T-Mobile only realised the 07744 number was one of these numbers recently and has applied the charges from 16 August.

So, others - please beware as you may well be charged from now on.
