I'm going to try for under £50 for the whole week ... last week I was over by a bit and wasn't even including the weekend! But this week is looking a lot quieter so should be a bit easier, fingers crossed.

Are you really a ticket inspector?

  • Thanks PointyPenguin. Yes I am really a ticket inspector for a train company. Probably hated by a lot of members on here!

Nah we are non-judgemental bunch. I have nothing against people who work for the trains as I rarely travel by them. It is the bus drivers that get my wrath:rotfl:

  • Lol. Well until last February I was a bus driver as well!

You have my sympathy as ticket inspectors and bus drivers seem to take a lot of stick from the general public from my experiences. I do not have a lot of patience, my mouth takes over, this is probably why I could never work in a customer service role:D

:hello: Hi all and welcome newbies!!

NSD for me yesterday, my lovely Dad and StepMum took me and DH out for roast dinner and champagne :D ... which was nice ... and didn't cost us a penny :j

I'm also very chuffed, having set my heart on a new bathroom suite with a gorgeous walk in shower thingy (over £1200 in B&Q ) to have found the exact same one on ebay for £200 :j!! So I have a mini challenge on the side of this one, to save up to buy it!!

Whats it like being a ticket inspector? I'm in the market for a new career. What do we all do for jobs on here? I'm a student and housewife and I'm bored :rotfl:
