    Well done matey - excellent news for ya!

    Nid maybe you can explain this well done for innocent getting a first direct account, but surely if he had a very good credit report it would be a bit of p!ss to get that account just like any other bank account,as long as your credit is good.seems like he gets good wages as well so don't think any bank would turn him down to be honest.

    I am going to call the number you gave me to the HSBC central underwriting team and hopefully come back here with postive news.

    Hi mate - no. FD is the hardest bank to get accepted with plus both myself and innocent had issues and we started a trend, last year. We interrogated the cra's and fpa's - trust me, it is a well deserved "well done"!!

    Flybe - £1500 19.9% ||| Silver Mastercard - £2000 18.9%
    Vanquis - £1500 34.08%
    HSBC Credit Card - £750 22.9%
    Outfit - £300 ||| HSBC Overdraft - £100 ||| Halifax Overdraft - £200

    You ring and get answered by a human in less than 3 rings, personalised staff, better accounts, higher limits, exclusivity (kudos) of the account - the list goes on........

    FD is not the best bank for no reason ;);)

    Spent around £100-£250 on the card each month, occasionally leaving a balance.
