yes, I claimed bank charges with them and they accepted they were at fault and said would send me a cheque but no cheque arrived and still waiting nearly 2 years on.0

Well done! Your limit may start at £100, £200, £300 or £500 and will increase by circa 150% on your fourth statement as long as you manage the account ok.
