    That's the fella!

Similar crieria to Vanquis (own park bench, dog on a piece of string etc...)? Or are they a bit stricter? and more to the point, will they let you have Vanquis and one of these other bad boys?

    Hi everyone,

Someone may know the answer to that... On Monday updated my addresses details on my Experian report back to over 6 years, for some reason was not done. Anyway on Tuesday was expecting to be able to access report but no, so I called their customer service who told me to wait for e-mail from them. Today still no e-mail so tried again & this time in addition they want me to enter a Pin number which I haven't got. Called again today and none of them seems to have a clue, was told again to wait for an e-mail. When I mention the Pin, she did not seem to understand what I was talking about.
Has anyone experienced that with them?
    Thanks

No Defaults or any adverse just too many searches on Experian and now a few (12) on Equifax. Time to leave it for a few months.
Out of interest do you know how many of those 12 on Equifax are in the last 6 months? I haven't got 12 for sure, I think I might have over 6 in 6 months though :(
    No mate you're wrong!

tesco (i.e. credit cards only) search both Experian & Equifax. :p

Read back, I explained this in detail and I know it for a fact, I also have a mate who posts here confirming it lol and he works for Natwest!!

RBS still underwrite TPF, as such initial checks are made via Experian, you then get an agreement to sign and when it is returned and checked at AVU they run an Equifax search, if anything stands out. That could be too many searches or a missed payment - anything! The only way to bypass any additional searches is if you have a flawless credit history for the previous 24 months..... :D

However all app's are subject to AVU intervention in which case, the norm goes out the window. I have had the cards for my new account, then a day later got a letter from AVU closing them down, as fast as I got them

Do not be fooled into believing everything is fact, just cos it happened to you! ;) Ive been working on Natwest systems for over a year and would say i'm as confident about their systems as their own staff! :rotfl:
Ah I forgot about the lovely AVU! Might as well just try Vanquis, then Tesco when that's settled (either accept or decline) because if I apply on the same day the AVU lot would pick it up when they go through it :( So because of all my searches I'm guessing they're going to tell me to jog on, if I even get through the instant accept/referal? :(
  • oh also anyone any experience of this my minimum payment due to vanquis was £20 this month and i owed at that time £499 i paid £18 as id arranged for sygma to balance transfer £480 so if id did £20 it would be overpaid ALBEIT BY A £1 thing is sygmas made an !!!! of it and its delayed, so the £480s not hittin the account by my payment due date as a result my minimum [payments due in 3 days on the 17th this being the 14th sooooooooooo like a right plonker i called up and made a £2 payment which achieves my minmum though she now tells me it might not go through till monday if this is the case will a missed payment marker appear on my credit file and if it does can i get it removed???????????????????????

    many thanks

@Zack The searches are all in the 6 month gap.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
