Just to add my two penn'worth. There are millions of people in the UK who are economically inactive. Some through illness and disability but a lot who are not. If these people took the jobs that the immigrants are taking then there wouldn't be the problem so many perceive. It is just that the government has made it so hard to get it ahead. It is easier to live on the dole and get your rent and council tax paid. If you do work, when you do more hours and your salary goes up they reduce your tax credits and other benefits by so much it is not worth the while.

I'm sure you would have a much different opinion, say if you had a high power job and worked abroad. Also the government are clamping down on benefits anyway, not just because people from other countries are deemed more fit.

Also, why don't you go try and live in their country for a while and try a life that they have, where they are constantly under-mind and treat like !!!!!! by the likes of yourself on a daily basis, and still go to work every day for basic wage? No "hard working" britain would do that.
