Good luck. I nearly had over a grand unmatched... well it was unmatched for a day, because I do "dutching" - backing both at bookies. I guess you'll start with traditional back/lay using Betfair etc?I'm going to start doing matched betting tonight. Just making sure I understand it 100% before going for it.

I'm using BetMate. I'm permanently banned from BetFair for underage gambling and self exclusion (I got into problems when I was 16...). I now do not gamble (and do not get the buzz out of it that I used to). Going to try and get back some of the money I lost when I was young and stupid.
I just placed my first bet. £10 with PaddyPower (£10 free for betting £10). Layed the bet at BetMate. Just waiting for the football game to finish and will bet again to get my free £10. Starting off small to make sure I understand it all.
I'm using my old HSBC account for all the gambling, which isn't a great ideas, as FirstDirect might not like it when I apply for CC etc.. might have to use another bank account.0 -
