    Afternoon folks!
Just a quick Q.. re cap1 progress card... I have been talking about this with a mate and, on reflection I reckon i have given her duff info....

I know with the progress card they reduce your APR on months 5, 11 and 17..But do they also automatically assess you for credit limit increases then too?

I told her they did, but thinking about it i dont think they do....I dunno where i made that up from if they dont lol.......

She is/was gonna apply but said i would ask 1st!
I got a rate decrease at month 5 but no limit increase, but it seems recently they have started randomly upping peoples limits, so hopefully they do the same to me, or month 11 triggers an account review I don't know
Isnt that just for the 'classic' tho?
Nope it's progress too, I'm on it. You have to make a transaction that's not refunded within 3 months, pay at least the minimum payment on time and not go over the credit limit to get it. It's a small incrase though - e.g. used to be £100 -> £200 (which I got), £200 -> £500 etc, but aas they are randomly upping limits they might actually assess her properly again when it comes to 4th statement, rather than giving her the old pre-set limits

    good starting limit

yes you'll get an increase soon as long as you pay at least minimum each month and don't exceed limit

Aqua also allow considerably less time between statement date and payment due date compared with other card issuers.

Thats true my statement date is the end of the month and the payment date is two weeks later.

I'm a student and £999.76 into my overdraft, can't see too many people touching me :rotfl: That's why I applied now, in the hope I get things before my overdaft status is reported to CRAs :rotfl::D The 2 I've got are ok, but I want Halifax things but they seem to have something against me, I couldn't even get a student account with them when my file was fine

Haha, ok maybe they do then :p I just didn't see any of this "decision in 1 minute" that's plastered all over other sites so assumed they didn't. Ah well, it's not instant decline so it's a start:rotfl:
