I'm a student and £999.76 into my overdraft, can't see too many people touching me :rotfl: That's why I applied now, in the hope I get things before my overdaft status is reported to CRAs :rotfl::D The 2 I've got are ok, but I want Halifax things but they seem to have something against me, I couldn't even get a student account with them when my file was fine

Haha, ok maybe they do then :p I just didn't see any of this "decision in 1 minute" that's plastered all over other sites so assumed they didn't. Ah well, it's not instant decline so it's a start:rotfl:

I am a student and using my overdraft which is reported. Aqua gave me a card so you might be okay.

AQUA give instant approval sometimes if they going to write to you in ten days its refer.
Yea, thought they never did. I've been referred then. Ah well better than instant decline :rotfl:

At least this way it'll cost them money to decline me :D

They've rejected me before, but overdrafts are ment to be really bad... and I've got 2 cards as it is so not confident of getting anything. If I get it it'll be a nice bonus!

What other stuff can I apply for? Can't do Vanquis until the end of May :(

I've got Cap1 (what was the outcome of the talk about leaving it unused for 3 months and being able to reapply?) and got rejected for something from Sygma yesterday. Aqua pending so I guess that's it until I can go for Vanquis again :D

I sent Capital One another secure message:

I made a complaint to Capital One last week regarding my credit limit and I received a phone call from an advisor who claimed she would have to investigate it further. The advisor stated she would call me back on 6th April with the outcome of her investigations.

The advisor did not call back.

Again, I wish to make a complaint and this time, I want it to be investigated and dealt with accordingly. In addition to my complaint, I want it noted that I am less than happy with the advisor who claimed she would call me back but didn't. I do not enjoy having my time wasted like that.

I applied for the Capital One Plus card and was accepted with £100 credit limit. Naturally, I wasn't very happy about this but decided to wait until the 4th statement increase. The limit was increased to £200.

The summary box for the Capital One Plus card CLEARLY states the minimum credit limit is £500, so why was I not given this limit when I was accepted for the account?

I have a perfect credit history with absolutely no adverse data and have proven myself to Capital One that I can be trusted with credit, yet I'm only given £200 and a high interest rate? I'm disgusted at Capital One.a

This is my last and final attempt at pursuing this complaint with Capital One. After which, I will be contacting the financial ombudsman and I shall explain to them Capital One is failing to investigate/uphold my complaint.

In summary: I applied for the Capital One Plus card. I was accepted and given £100 credit limit dispute the summary box stating the minimum is £500.

I think that you are going to be okay and the overdraft will be not be a issue because you are within your limit.

we have got to remember that increases on capital one classic&progress are looked at different when it comes to increases thats why we have them cards, they look at our limits different as how they would look at there other customers who has there prime card..they may knock the limit up a few hundred but that is al,l like i say sub-prime card lenders aint there to keep putting limits up they are there to help you rebuild your credit history!!

The Capital One Plus card isn't sub prime.

I might phone up again tomorrow and ask again, if they give me rubbish about how the current terms weren't the terms at the time I signed up (wish I'd checked and printscreen it, but I know they're talking BS anyway, just can't prove it) then I'll ask them to close it, see if that gets any reaction :rotfl:

Just about to do the same with o2, they want me to pay £288 to pay off my contract, erm no! So going to see if they'll let me downgrade the one I'm on, if they don't I'll make it clear I'm leaving them as soon as I'm legally allowed to!
