No, not unless you have anything else that may make it refer - in which case they will check back the full 6 years. If you have a perfect 2 years history with not too many searches and payments on time, then you may find yourself lucky - if not then you must appeal with payslips and bank statement as they do overturn a lot of applications :D:D

Apply during office hours for automated decision, after 8pm it will be referred....

I still wanna see these people post their acceptance letter and cards cos i'm not convinced - and these are my mates as well, but hey - when something so strange happens you need proof then we all start to believe..... I spoke to them myself an hour back and they told me again you cannot apply for more than one card in any 90 day period or it will be declined.

I then said that was bollox cos some of my mates on MSE are confirming they have been accepted a month after a previous application and she laughed and sai "have you met them and seen their cards" to which I gathered what she was saying.... :p:p

So here I am, my plan was to wait a month then do the same and apply to Flybe but now i'm not so sure.... maybe it was a system glitch, I dunno but with crap APR's like that they can shove it (plus I don't have anything to transfer over to the card to benefit a whopping 6 months 0% on BT's) :rotfl: :rotfl:
Niddy boy you saying I may be bending the truth?
Well when I applied I got the 7-10 days message, I called up and the lady told me that I had been 'provisionally accepted' however she had to look into the application. She put me on hold for about 2 minutes and asked me if I had applied recently as she has an error message showing for 'duplicate application'

I advised her that I applied for the Silvercard recently and was accepted. She popped me on hold and then said I have processed the application to the next stage and we will send you the documents in the post.

I later found out I had a 5k limit and nearly passed out.

Ahh, so it is half true what she told me then - it was picked up for a duplicate and I reckon had you not rung, they may have declined it - maybe it was human error or luck?

Course I believe you mate, I said that what the hardest part cos your my mates - but you have to admit, it is a strange one mate! However I got accepted with £4,750 - weird eh?

    I'm cancelling it though.

I would now wait for your file to cool down and think of re-applying around October, which will show a good 8 months without any searches.
