Hi, just a quick one, ive got Flybe (£1900 Limit) had for 9 months, and Silver (1000 limit) had for 6 months and just applied yesterday for a My Wolrd card and was accepted online, Ive rang twice to ask what the credit limit will be and they have said they don't have that information and to wait for my T's & C's letter with the limit on! Anyone got one and what sort of limit do they give on this card? Thanks

Hi Jackie, the limit and APR will be in your welcome pack, once you haved signed the CCA and they have processed it you *may* be able to ask over the phone.

Seriously! It wasn't easy for me.

    Bank of Scotland.

When I was 18 the year was 2001.:o

Had the account probably since I was 14, I also had a savings account with them that I opened when I started working (when I was 16).
My salary was paid in every four weeks.
    I lived with my parents.

That is surprising considering they (and Natpest) are the easiest to get accepted for.... the only logical reason would be not on elecoral register or not earning enough?

But it usually is an easy process, especially if you've had an account with them for so long - did you bounce payments and have charges? Go overdrawn without an overdraft?

Remember most banks rely on internal scoring, especially back in 2001 - things were a *lot* easier ;);)
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o

I still haven't received my Silver Card, but just checked on Equifax and the account has been set up as from March 28th. £2000 limit.

I am going to keep it, aswell as my other Sygma cards as they are always offering balance transfers on special rates :)

Yes it is a great account. I got a cashcard but have been trying to get it upgraded without luck!!

It's strange, but you will have better luck just applying for a new flex account online rather than trying to upgrade.

When I just had my account with the cash card they would never let me upgrade either online or in the branch, so I just applied for a new flex account online and was accepted for the debit card, £750 o/d, and cheque book.

I have read a few times about it being the same for alot of other people too, although I don't know why! :)

    lol.

It seems a long long time ago now that I first mentioned the Flybe card to this forum.

I am glad that after all this time others are now having the same success :)
