Hi Spiritual, maybe I wasn't clear, I already have a vodafone contract, I'm not interested in getting another one LOL :rotfl:
The current account you're talking about I already have, it's just a basic current account, no overdraft, maestro and link card.
The only thing on my file which is adverse is my default, everything else looks good.
Vanquis have given me a straight up NO, but Aqua sent me a CCA, has anyone been declined after signing a CCA??

Anyway, it is Thursday - I'm off work tomorrow! YAY! Going to spend my day in Glasgow west end pretending to be a Wendy :):o

glasgow west end never had an urge to have a night out in glasgow ever lol

far as aqua if theyve sent u the cca uve got the card etc, also aqua is quite good as the show as halifax as opposed to aqua ie if any future creditors looked at ure file and saw vanquis theyd be thinking ahhh a SUBPRIME CARD whereas aqua showin as halifax will always pass as a mainstream :A

If Aqua have sent you a cca then you will receive you pin first and the card in the next 10 days after you have return the CCA.

When you get your CCA there should have been a letter telling that your card is waiting for you and all you need to do is sign the CCA.The credit limit should have been on the letter.I would not worry about Vanquis because Aqua is a better card and is usually the harder to get out of the subprime cards.

Not so sure I agree with that. If the card is showing a good history - regardless of whether its a prime or sub-prime card - then any lender should look favourably on an application. There's no guarantees in the world of credit anymore.

yeah uve got a point suppose im just overanalying the situation, though theres always a chance if u only had a subprime card an overanalysing creditor like myself may be thinking have they had any defaults that have now gone etc.and thats why they opted to take out vanquis especiallyt if there older as opposed to young and no credit history.......... like i said i may just be overanlysing the situation..:A

I got half way down to England and someone crashed in to me. My car has to be written off but on the bright side, the curtsey car is being delivered today and can have it for up to 59 weeks.

I was sat stranded in the middle of no where for hours. The police had to send out a rescue helicopter to find me as I couldn't give them my exact location. Insurance company has contacted the solicitors to claim compo, so it's not all bad. :D
Wow Elky, glad you made it out of that sort of unscathed!
Good news about the courtesy car and insurance though :)

Just phoned captial one, due to not recieving my card yet, i am awaiting the Capital One Progress(Recieved pin 6 days ago).

They said i should recieve the card today or Tue at the latest. I also asked about limit and was told i have a £1500 limit. I thought that was quite high for an inital limit with CAP1, as most people on here seem to start off on £200.

Maybe i should of applied for the World Mastercard lol, ahh well hey.
