Sutton, now you are offically prime yay! What APR and limit did you get?

    I got a £1000 @ 24.9% APR. Not too bad, considering 6 months ago I could even get a credit card. :D

Sorry to hear that mate. Have you any adverse with Equifax? Proliant/Sutton/others...did you have some adverse data on Equifax or on Experian?

I am trying to work out whether you do need a clean Equifax file to have a chance as it is stated on their website that the applicant must have a clean credit history..ie no defaults.

You don't need a clean file. I have 1 satisfied default from Jan 2007. Everything else is spot on. :)

PM me details or post up here, follow my response to alanriley and you'll see what he provided and then i'll sort you a letter - or amend the one I done for him to suit you and send that mate - they know they cannot file 2 defaults and i've only just started on them with this carry on with alanriley - basically both defaults will be removed - watch this space! :p:p

So let me know if you'll PM or amend the letter I done for him. ( #2856)... either way, they will remove them by the time we've finished, don't worry mate - this is second nature now! :rotfl::rotfl:

Just read your template letter. Will send tomorrow.
Mine is virtually identical. First default registered at my address prior to last for a similar amount 1600 ish then re-registered with a vastly inflated figure at my last address. Experian only shows one default with bumped up figure, ie started at 1600 now a lot more and updated monthly
