Thats enough applications for me now i think.

Are you even sub prime? I only ask because some of your posts contradict each other and we on here, don't tell porkies.
I have several reasons of doubt:
1. No credit history would be difficult to secure MBNA
2. High overdraft of £8k would be accountable
3. So what's your income again - must be £30k + or MBNA would not give a £6k limit
Now I could be wrong, but from experience I don't think what you're saying and what is happening are the same - if so then great, but I don't honestly believe you. I think you've exaggerated the limits - plus MBNA is not that easy and considering you struggled with Aqua, I highly suspect MBNA would decline you - I can even ask a mate from this forum who works for them.... something isn't right - dunno what though;);)

Do not apply - you will not get accepted as you have defaults - these have to be gone. I've advised you my opinion, on PM..
Cheers for the advice, i did reply.0 -

Hopefully you will get something similar.

Not being funny or sorry for butting in,but MBNA are very strict and i am sure they would not except someone with a default surely, not saying you did not get the card, just thought they are a well high standard prime card..0 -

See my post above ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Also, thanks for highlighting the default - Now I know for a fact that it is not true - MBNA will auto decline you with a default (or the default is fabricated)?.2010 - year of the troll

One of my brothers got refused an MBNA last week, he has no adverse at all, 5 long standing credit accounts (inc mobile phone). No apps in past 6 months and only missed 1 payment in 24 months. Owns own house, been there 12 years, in same job3 years He has 25% of his salary available to him as credit and is only using 40% of that and still got knocked back..maybe they are being nice to people this week?
I hope aqua are nice to me this week! My app got ref'd to 'the underwritting dept'...and so I wait, and wait for Mr Postie for a yeah or ney lol0 -

That is what i'm saying, MBNA are extremely strict in that if you have adverse, pretty much forget it! I have applied every 6 months for a couple of years and always gets referred, declined, appealed, declined.
Why? I have 4 cards and a couple of banks (4 or 5 lol) and never use cards and would say i'm a great risk.... but not according to them
Me thinks we have a wee fibber amidst us. :rotfl:
Aqua are a weird bunch but deffo worth appealing if its a decline.... good luck.2010 - year of the troll

Never got my head round trolls, surely they have something better/more constructive to do?
I'm not suggesting anyone is a troll, but something just doesn't add up - i'm thinking more ego boosting..... i.e. declined but saying otherwise, or no default. However, would love to see a copy of front of card (blacked out details) along with a screen print of the default - that would shut me up:D
They like to wind people up - god knows how their brain works lol :rotfl:
I repeat i'm accusing nobody of trolling, just some porky tales2010 - year of the troll
