LOL I bet you were causing havoc!!
Nid, you have a Coventry account don't you, well do they search Equifax exclusively?0 -
Does anyone know if you can link accounts on Sygma Bank website?
No. You'll have to register again on the website using a different username to view another account. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Basically, one late payment marker will not go against you, it happens to the best of people and as they say, !!!!!! can and does happen
I got an increase on my Capital One from £100 to £200. I've made a complaint, telling them I want the £500 stated in the summary box and I'll be taking the matter to the ombudsman if they fail to comply. We’ve had to remove your signature. CHALLISAVENUE wrote: »Thanks for your comments, however i am not likely to abuse it as it is paid down every month,in fact its not used most months, but when it is it gets cleared what with my salary and other sources of income coming into that account.I see your point about what other lenders might think about this but my credit file is all green "0"'s,i might also add that their is no way for me to reduce it online as when i try it states i have a 0 guaranteed overdraft on this particular account, yet on my URCA i have an overdraft of 4k and available of 12k should i need it,which i have no need for.
What do you think about the fact that Experian have recorded the search as 8yrs 8 months at the current address when thats plainly NOT accurate and isnt what i put in the application(should be 8 months)!!!!!!
And also your opinions on why do you think i didnt get a straight decline, like previous occasions, what do you think as you seem to be very knowledgable about these things? Has it been referred or something,is this a good or bad thing???
What do you think?
Kelly
In regards to the search, there has clearly been an error either at your end or theirs. Your best bet is to contact Experian and explain you've only lived there for 8 months and they should correct it.
If you don't get a straight decline, then it'll no doubt be referred to an underwriter which isn't always a bad thing. I think in this case, you'll just have to have a little patience and await the outcome. No one other than them can tell you whether you'll be accepted or not. We’ve had to remove your signature. What did you do at your mates..anything good ?
Kelly
Hi Kelly, funnily enough I applied for one of these over the weekend, the screen went all funny (froze, and i didnt think i got to the end of the app) as i didnt know if the app had gone through i have called them today and they said they had issues over the weekend and they would write to me with outcome, i asked had it been ref'd and was told they had issues so it was being looked at manually - not sure if this is the same with you?
I was told this by the call centre staff, so dunno if it was an excuse to get me off the phone asap or a genuine reason! Give em a ring - you dont ask you dont get and all that. They may tell you0 -

My diddy £200 limit from Cap One is not the most helpful ever, have spent 75% of it in a few days! I'm trying to make sure I use the card sensibly so that they're more prone to increasing my limit, but their site seems to be a bit vague on how this happens, citing 'periodic reviews'. Is there a specific period for said periodic reviews?0

Well, well , i had a phone call earlier from someone at aqua card to check a few things, employment and other things, and i mentioned the fact that they had searched me stating wrong length of time, well they admitted it was their error and lo and behold i was being accepted for the aqua card with a limit of £1750, not bad so im really pleased. the guy wouldnt go into dteails about why it was referred but he said my paperwork and card will be with me shortly.
