Hi, been lurking on the boards for a while. I have just been accepted for a Capital One Progress CC, which i am quite pleased about. I got into difficulty about 5 years ago where i slipped on payments and ended up with a default. After sorting my issues out. I aquired an Aqua card with gradual increases on the limits i now have a £1950 limit. I have to say Aqua's hard sell is terrible if you ever phone up and try to pay some money off your bill, you get loads of waffle on products and other stuff. I wont be sad to be leaving them in the coming months. I owe about 400 on the Aqua shall i pay it off and cancel the card or leave it open for the time i am repairing my credit?

So, Vanquis have updated the Diamond Credit Card website.

The number of years at previoius address drop down box works.

Anyone got the card yet? Is the picture of the diamond on the card itself? Or is it just a plain black card?

I know someone said that they were advised that current Vanquis customers could not apply, is this a true fact??

I would be worried about applying for any after just being passed for one, a few days ago.

Although Aqua (Halifax) search Experian and Sygma only search Equifax, so applying for both would be one on each.

Effectively the same as applying for a Capital One card - as they search both.

So applying for an Aqua card and a Silver card would have no greater effect on chappies credit score than just applying for a Capital One Progress :o
