OMG I got my increase with Capital One.

    It was £100..... it's now **£200**.

Christ almighty, I feel wealthy now. I'm definitely going to buy that £600 bottle of champagne and use my Capital One to pay part of the balance.

On a serious note, I'm typing up a complaint and I'll tell them where they can shove their f*cking measly £200 limit.

EDIT: I put in my complaint I'll be taking it to the ombudsman if I'm not satisfied with their response.
    :rotfl:

I was going to tell them where to shove their limit, but I've got 82p left on my Natwest card, so at the moment I'll be nice to Cap1 :rotfl:

    Eligibility on credit cards
i find eligibility on credit cards a load of bullsh!t.
Its about time banks told us about the truth about requirements you need before applying for credit.
Not this crap they as for.
1.Are you in full time employment.
2.Have you lived in the uk for at least 2 years,
    3Are you over 18
    4.Have you a bank account.
5.have not Have not had any ccj, defaults,or late payments in the last 2 years
    6,have income of over £4000 a year.
    7.never been bankrupt
The question is why ask these stupid criteria questions when they now most people can answer yes to these, but afterwards decline applications ,its wrong.
    WHY ASK THESE
The application criteria from banks should be changed to what they are really looking for,not these bullsh!t criteria questions

    Sorry star-fire, but I disagree.

They use fairly attainable minimum criteria to drum up business, but then the real 'work' of the application is usually done with internal scoring mechanisms/underwriting staff. If they told everyone how they judged potential customers thousands of unreliable people would no doubt try to 'game' the system to amass as much credit as they could.

As well as this, it would no doubt reduce competitiveness between different card offerers/banks.

So, while the current systems for judging risk might need some work, I don't think that total transparency is the way to go.

I'm going to send them another secure message saying:

Shove your f***ing worthless £200 credit limit up your ars* you no good tight fisted sons of b***hes.

I have disposed of the credit card by means of flushing it down the toilet, after it was used to scrape dog s**t off my boots - at least I found a useful purpose for it.

I wonder what their reply will be? :D
