cant you get cover with your bank account i ve got it for £7 month

They'll probably only give local cover. I'd need national which is much more expensive.

I'm going on a short break next week to England and decided to drive down. That'll be fun considering I've never driven on the motorway before.

I don't know if I should chance fate and go without breakdown cover or fork out £70 for it.
I have AA cover - £28 with £21 cashback via Quidco. I drive a 10 year old Fiesta and have never broken down but it is good to have just in case.

Don't fret about driving on the M6 (which, I assume, you will be using?) It is not terribly busy until you hit Lancaster and Preston

lol It's Preston I'm going to. I'm not fretting that much, it can't be much different from a dual carriageway, I'm frequently doing 50-100 miles a few times a month on those.

    £28? That's excellent.

I have been up and down the M6 regularly going to Stranraer. I always stop at Tebay services. Very picturesque. As is Killington Lake
