Decided to chase my Vanquis application, as I was pleased to be approved for Cap One and thought that Vanquis had been perhaps more likely to accept me (3 weeks since I applied on Friday).

Turns out that they require further proof of my identity, which seems a little rich as they carried out both identity and credit checks through Experian which I can see on my file. Can these checks return nothing and still appear as searches on file, or are Vanquis just being cautious?

Will send off a copy of my passport and my provisional driving license tomorrow morning (the provisional probably won't help much, but I like to show willing...)

I'd send in a bank statement too, just to prove where you live.

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
