    OMFG Wow!

I love Barclaycard. Used a little bit but several transactions getting bits and bobs from eBay recently (Wireless N card for my Laptop, Owl Energy Monitor, etc). Nothing expensive, just cheap technie sundries.

Just had a call listing my five recent pending authorisations and it was a very effective way of confirming the transactions were genuine and made by me.

The automated system lists the pending transactions, amounts, retailer name, country of origin (Pay Pal threw it out being based in Luxembourg and USA), etc, and verifies you are the cardholder without asking for personal information (lists several months and dates of birth and ask you to press the corresponding key for whichever one is yours).

Very impressed and feel much safer now having a Barclaycard in the wallet.

    Thanks Barclaycard!

    Hi NID,

I am trying to claim back my PPI from a loan we had with Citifinancial, i sent them a SAR request etc and they have replied saying that i have been unsuccessful because i had made a claim on the PPI. Thinking back we took the loan out in may 2001 and in December that year i was made redundant so i think they made one payment on the PPI,as i started work again in the Feb.
The loan we took out was for approx £3300 and the PPI get ready was £2118.34.
Please could you tell me if it's worth pursuing or not and what i should do from here.

    Many thanks in advance

Well you cannot say you were "mis-sold" a product that you've claimed on..... sorry. It's a dead-end.

Have a read here though, to set your mind at rest: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance?dd

3 credit searches by sygma (1 yesterday and 2 2day) and 1 by Creation Financial Services Ltd which is an Unclassified search.

I think you need to raise a notice of dispute with Equifax.

Spoken to Sygma about this and apparently will have a response from their relevent team some point soon

So has your card been sent yet?

And did you ask about all those searches?

    When is the letter dated?

Good limit, perhaps they're trying to get you to stay. ;)

P, have you heard back about your application? Was it a instant accept or a refer?
