nah i went in the day before the start of the term and told them to shove it.

BIG mistake. oh well live and learn.
Went on a computing apprenticeship but didnt finish it as was moving around alot and also trying to hold a p/t job at 16. Went full time for my 17th and then 3 months later was made redundant.

Finding it hard to get a better job atm. Hopefully sort things out when i'm driving. more prospects and cud even commute to telford

    Arrrr, that's a shame!

Yep, that's true, you do live and learn. You could still do A-Levels or the equivalent.

Driving will help, jobs are awful in Shrewsbury. There aren't many about. My best mate is unemployed too. He can't find employment either.

Regards to the CCJ we can get that stuck off for you if you let us know details mate - just start a thread over here:: Debt-Free Wannabe and i'll come over and get my mate (10past6)to come and see if it can be wiped due to procedural errors (but you'd have to pay the debt of course)....

regards to the DCA - when did you last pay? Bear in mind the Statute Barred clock is ticking - but post details here and we'll get them off your back for you: Unenforceability & Template Letters III

Likewise, i am in a similar situation as you. But got 2 young boys, one is 2 and the other 10 months.

I do have a job but hours have been cut, and salary reduced by over 6% in real terms, so it is not easy.
