It prevailed that the info about not using the card for 3months was a load of BS. I have secure messaged cap 1 about this and have been advised that this is not the case. If you look at the pre-requistes for the progress card it states that you cannot currently hold another capital one card.

The info about being able to apply for another cap 1 card if you haven't used your card for 3 months was provided by me. I was advised by a floor manager and confirmed by another. The same person advised me to write for credit limit increase. I got this info from trying to close my account.

I have asked them to send me a written confirmation and they have agreed to send one. I do not think it was BS and there was no reason for me to give people wrong information. I always double check the information i give on here because i will hate to misinform anyone.

Be advised that the CS staff who answer the secure messages are the same people who answer the phone. They do no know every information. 2 people even told me that you cant write for credit limit increase but i did and got the increase.

Because of what you have said i will do everything in my power to post the written confirmation on here when it arrives. We are all here and no one is going anywhere lol

Apply for Vanquis mate, they will offer you a decent limit.
I got accepted when I only had Natwest but turned it down as didn't want to risk late payments (no online facility back then). Now they've got one and I reapplied and was rejected, so have to wait until my application spree to try again (May 28th officially I think was the date, but I'm waiting until ~July/Aug to knock a load of searches off). Hopefully my good repayments from Nov -> June~ will show up and have an impact....

....apparently not though! :( Thanks, that ruins my plan! Can't try for a higher limit with them until I get another card or a job then.....

I am not calling you a liar, just going upon the info I have received. If you read the pre-requsites for the progress card it states that you CANNOT have another crappy1 card. Please do try and get written confirmation as if this is true it is something that I will intend to do! Cheers

If it was me I would happily leave it and if it ever goes downhill then dispute it, it can only be having a positive impact on your credit file.

I am annoyed as I feel that they are penalising me for the actions of their courier company....I told them if there is any detramential information on my Credit Report that is due to no fault of my own then they are liable, she agreed!

I really am going to SAR them, I am not going to put up with this, I feel like they are accusing me of fraud!!

A long time ago I applied for a distance learning course and it was on a credit agreement. I never got any of the parcels, they were delivered to the neighbours (I did not live in a nice area at the time, if it was not nailed down it would be stolen) and no one was ever asked to sign for them. In the end they got a judgement against me but I want to go back to studying with the same organisation (it is high reputable) and I think I might see a Solicitor (I really should have done that at the time but thought I could do it myself, which I couldnt) about it as you are right they are implying "I committed fraud" by denying receipt. I wonder if I could use this now after all this time to have the judgement lifted and my record wiped, by threatening to sue them for defamation???

I know it is now off the CRA database and so is not affecting my ability to get new credit, but I beleive it is collectable for 20 years from the date they got it.

I dont like olanzapine, way to much weight gain and I slept all the time same with Seroquel and years ago Mellaril. My prefered treatment is lithium I dont feel up (jumpy) or down (sedated) on it just "normal". All with the smarties they chuck at everyone called SSRI's.
