As they search Equifax only I might apply, see what they say to me, I am on E/R - Lloyds said to me the other day I was electronically varified and I didnt need to submit any ID

did lloyds accept you? If so then stick with them over BoC. Its ok as a second account but long term i'm not so sure...... everything seems so 'easy' which surprises me somewhat ;)

Lloyds may refuse lending if you apply too much - just sit tight and build relationship with lloyds mate cos they use internal scoring and you can get a credit card etc without external searches....

    Lloyds cifas me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Just write to the Electoral Office and tell them it is an error and state your correct address, they should request that the CRA amend the record.... if not, ask the CRA's to do it for you. :D

p.s. don't advertise what you just typed mate - its not exactly ermm, legal IYSWIM :D:D:D

Interesting..... I was looking through the summary box and it states you must have a good credit history. From what you are saying yours is fine so I would appeal?

My EQ is yeah, but it's OK I don't really need any credit atall, I only gave the Sygma Silver a go as barclaycard not long before said "YAY".

I might give it another shot in August but I want to leave everything as it is as I'm hoping for a pre-approval from Lloyds TSB at some point ;)

Ahhhhh, yeah Lloyds accepted me, I have a decision to make, close Barclays and move to Lloyds or move to Lloyds and keep Barclays open - long story but I get half price account fee with Barclays, which provides me with mobile phone insurance :D
  • Good i think. I havent checked for a couple of months but no late payments that are new that i am aware of and no defaults and CCJs

    ...

    BUT

Just checked the electrol roll and my address has been changed to the address i moved 2 :(

anything can be done to change to continue this?

I had exactly the same issue however I just never declare the other address. I do sometimes get referred as there is an "additional address" but I advise that I moved my accounts to another address whilst I was having renovations carried out and that is why there is a link. I have "never" lived at the address (At least they think anyway)

lol, yeah i can tell by your post count tbh.

No, I never applied for a Bank of Cyprus account because I can't be doing with the hassle of having to transfer them £10 and if declined you'd have to wait for it to come back.

Still can't get a HSBC account, I'll try them again in April, but definitely going into branch.

I'm in the process of closing my Barclays account as I have now switched everything to HSBC.

Can you not apply for a basic account and upgrade after 6 months?

Did you see the pages about Bank of Cyprus? Seems so far there was only me and another that got accepted..... weird eh? And today they are sending me the cheque card... cool :D:D

Anything special about BoC account? How many current accounts do you have matey if i may ask? lol

Will it not be seen as something bad if you have too many current accounts?

By the way, I requested for Covestry BS first account application forms and it seems like they have already done and ID check on me. is that normal? They have scared the !!!!!! out of me lol

Equifax about 9 and Experian about 20 in past 6 months haha - it was September I found out I was credit worthy again, so went to my head haha!

Now my searches are going against me :(
