:rotfl: I hate the standard replies they send back, I got one about it's not possible to disclose my increase so their 'confidential' policy remains effective and all this rubbish :rotfl:

:rotfl:Ask them about my account while you're in there :D

You're lucky you got a second increase from what I've been reading! They don't like giving more than 1!

I've had a Cap One since 2004....started with a £200 limit and still got a £200 limit. They won't increase it for love nor money (have tried to ask several times). I use it just to maintain healthy green '0's...

    Hi everyone,
I just got off the phone to crappy1. I wanted to close my classic card account but they managed to talk me into not closing it.

They asked my reason for wanting to close and this was what i gave them:
    (1) !!!!!! credit limit and it doesn't look like am getting another increase.
    (2) I want to reapply for the progress or plus card

He then said that there was nothing to suggest that I wont get another credit limit increase since i am running my account well. (I expected him to say that anyway. They will say anything to keep a customer lol)

He also said as an existing custormer I could still apply for other capital one cards.
Apparently, if your balance is zero and you dont use your card for 3 months you can reapply for another card and if accepted, your old card will be closed automatically.

He therefore said I was eligible to apply for progress or plus card on 28 March 10 since my last account activity was 28 December 09

Don't go down the CCA route - it is very irresponsible, and you don't sound like the irresponsible type.

Excuse me - that is an a very opinionated and incorrect assessment actually. If you don't understand unenforceability please leave it - don't get embroiled in the finer details but suffice to say it IS NOT IRRESPONSIBLE it is there to protect you against lenders that think they are above the law.

I am sure you do not need me to sit here and explain it to you so please be careful what you're saying, maybe in your opinion it is whatever - but not to me and a legion of followers :D:D

I'm still mortified at being declined by Bank of Cyprus. How very dare they? The head office is only up the road from me, i might pay them a visit and appeal. lol

Haha - seems i'm the only one so far to have that account? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl: @ s**t limit!! That's good about the 3 months activity....so if I stopped using the card I'd keep getting 0's and could keep applying? That's better than closing it, as if they reject me and I need the money I can just use the old card!:D

You are probably the only person with a half decent credit history on here lol. Or maybe they are more tolerable to cifas and previous searches than adverse data.

You really can land anything if you stop applying :rotfl:
