What was the final score in that? I was going to throw loads on them being ahead at half time, luckily I didn't as, from what I could tell, Grimsby equalised seconds before HT!!!

It's so stupid, they must make peanuts out of a £200 limit, just chuck us on £500 or 1k at least.....

Ah, good result for Grimsby I guess. They were awful when they played us, but I think they could still have a decent shot at staying up.....

They're going to double mine :p

    a whooping £100 goes to £200 :rotfl:

Zack, not everyone gets a credit limit increase on 4th statement u know. wait till u actually see it doubled to 200. And after that, u would stand a better chance of bedding cheryl cole than getting another increase :rotfl:

You're already counting your chicks before they are hatched :rotfl:

Why not? I was told on the phone if I pay the minimum or more on every statement on time, don't go over the credit limit and make a purchase, which isn't refunded, within the first 3 months I'd get an increase. Hopefully that's written down somewhere in the leaflets they sent......if it is I hope I don't get the increase because I'd start a war with them on it :rotfl:

I'll know on the 24th anyway...... 24th is a big night out at uni, if it's gone up that'll be some party.....in the pubs we can use cards - I might try the cashback trick too! - in the clubs we can't though :( well unless we want to wait about 3 weeks to get served:rotfl:
  • I have just logged into capital one account and seen that they have increased my credit limit from £500 to £800 . This is only my second increase in 3 years from an inital limit of £200.

My balance is paid in full every month and I have never paid any interest.

A few people have said they never got increases on 4th statement even though it is usually the norm of crappy1 to increase on 4th statement.

The cashback thingy does work in some shops/pubs. Few years back I always got cashback from my local shop albeit a 30p charge. Beware though as it could be breaching the terms and conditions. who gives a damn about that though ?lol

Dont you go spending like a drunken sailor :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Strange, they certainly told me that though (and took their time explaining it when I phoned up to activate, then seemed shocked I didn't have any questions!!) so I'd say there should be no element of doubt. Clearly there is though, this could be a fun battle if they don't increase it. If they don't I'd push for it to go to £500 for the inconvenience caused too :rotfl:

Haha, I think it'll work, especially as if we're drunk and say we need a tenner or whatever to get in to the club and can they give us that and charge £10 more to the card....

:rotfl: Quite a few things are set to be decided between now and then, if it all goes in my favour then next week will be very interesting......

It'll be hard to top monday though, where I blocked one of my cards at the cash machine trying to put the wrong code in!! I use the same code for every card, but I don't know the Halifax & A&L pins as I swear they never sent them, that didn't stop me trying to get it to work though! Now I have to phone and get them to actually send one!
