My CapitalOne Progress pin number came today.

Does anyone know if the increase on the 4th statement is only for the classic card, or is this the same for the progress?

LOL, 1 year later and still at £500 - will close it this month, they want me to send the card in to them first... idiots!

However I'll see what statement 12 brings first as it is due in the next 3 days (was 15th jan but may be 18th Feb..?) :D

No increase for Niddy = No Vanquis for Niddy :rotfl: :rotfl:

I closed my card over the phone last month and the women told to just cut the card up, had the account for 17 months and after increases from £250 to £500 and then to £1250 no further increases. But the card has done its job for me.

    Hiya

I got mine last Jan and in May went from £250 - £500 and that's it. Thing is they probably know I don't need the card, but still - why not just give me the top limit! I'll hardly renegade - they are idiots, so long as the limit is £500 i'll never use it.

Last month alone I put through £800 roughly on my Bank of Ireland Gold and paid it in full this month..... similarly, bought my holiday on Citi Gold in December (last month for the aadvantage miles) and paid that yesterday - in full. That's £2700 that Vanquis could have had from me in one billing period - muppets!

I cannot use £500 for anything, I tend to use cards for larger purchases and if I know the limit is no use then why bother? What I mean is the last thing I want to do is to send in various statements to work to claim petrol/allowances back so I put them all on one card for a whole month and then send that statement in - it starts at £0 so they pay me whatever amount is on it - simples. If I spent up on Vanquis then started to use Citi it'd be a nightmare cos I use Citi for other things, such as shopping and smokes! :D

maybe i'm too organsied lol - i'm lost with having 4 bank accounts - all i'm doing is moving a grand through each of the spare ones (coventry and bank of cyprus) every week - lol, money laundering or what!
