    good evening

    Today i paid off my vanquis and MBNA card in full and now have a zero balance, Will pay off my Capital one card off next week and only leave me my Flybe one to pay which is standing at 4k

    Get you out! What happened? Win the lottery? Sell the house? Kudos for taking the bull by the horns :o

  • no no. I changed from getting paid day rating etc to getting a contract so between swapping over i had some spare cash so paid them off. Also now contract means will beable to pay all debts off before summer which am over the moon about

    Awesome! Well done :beer: .. You can get some overpayments into the mortgage once your other debt is clear (if you have one). Might lead to being able to retire a year or two earlier...

    If they don't give you one when you open the account (they usually do, it's not hard to pass their CG score) they will send one out after three months of excellent account conduct without a search ;)

    (EDIT: Niddy, did you get as far as a card being send out before AVU had you? Was it CG?)
