So am i right among those lines re N Hunter NID?

If i was to apply for another CC say with HSBC for example, what will happen regarding consulting N Hunters database? Compare to my previous application i have made with Tesco? Or more applications i submitted a couple years back, with mobile phones etc.

Just make sure the details match - dont worry about it too much, if the lender was concerned they'd decline you and expect an appeal.... N Hunter make no decisions, they flag an application for manual review and the underwriter would see the varying info at which point they'd say 'easy error to make' or 'attempted fraud' - its not rocket science that people do guess dates and I for one put 5 years with employer, always. Even though last year I said 5 years - N Hunter will auto add it up but cos I never change it, it would not be flagged. Also, easy for an underwriter to see why I do it..... it doesn;t matter, you get more points (credit score) the longer you been with same employer (stability based) therefore between 5-10 years there is little difference, so when ive been there 10 years i'll then start to say 10 years lol - even if it is 14 years! :p

Dont get suckered in to what N Hunter do, they have little influence mate. N Hunter systems run alongside Experian and so they scan the N Hunter database for consistency at the same time you complete the form, its not a separate search or anything sinister like that!

NID, if say you apply to one lender who ask for your income and you say you earn 40k and you apply to another lender who asks for household income, and you say 60k, will N hunter flag it?

Anyone applied to MBNA know if this is worth an appeal? lol

The reason they gave me was as follows:
Haha, I had that exact same reason I think.... and they still told me to sod off after the appeal :rotfl::mad: But then reading between the lines of what they wrote, they are only gonna accept me when I have a full time job...

Well I got my car yesterday, paid the insurance and I'm picking it up today. I got them to throw in a years tax and a full service. I tried chancing my luck and having them put it through the car wash and polish it but they said no. :(

LOL. I was only trying to get as much out of them as possible. :rotfl:

It was quite painful handing over my savings but at least I spent it on something useful and practical.
