My reason for wanting the account was "Debit card" lol, don't know if that's going to be good enough, but they don't offer anything special! I said I'd put 12k in the account and withdraw 11k lol, dunno what they'll make of that either0 -

As I got my reports so long ago I don't know which one shows a better reflection of me
. Hopefully, whichever it is, that's what Cyprus use!

Just opened it up, that quality isn't too bad either. I get HD (well good as, although it's not officially that) tv through ISP - all the freeview channels - so love it when football is on ITV/BBC/5, means it's so much better quality than my online $ky streams!Part of the reason for my 32" TV/monitor! (with thanks to SLC!)

You may remember not long ago, I said that I made an error whilst applying for an Argos store card (basically put the address down as flat 6, 1 xxxx Road, but I live at Flat 6, 7 xxxx Road), well today went into Orange shop to sort out problems with Orange online order, and although I gave him a bank statement, he has also put down my address incorrectly, exactly the same as the one I put incorrectly when applying to Argos in December. Anyway, I was accepted, and now they are saying I may need ANOTHER credit check to amend the address? I also need to write in and get this search removed!!! God knows what damage this is going to do to my file!0

Vanquis is easier - go for that and Crappy1 - no harm with 2 searches.
Aqua is Halifax and is a little harder than the other two, but then you also have Barclaycard Initial which does a pre-application check using CallCredit before you actually apply (leaves a footprint).
In terms of Vanquis vs CapitalOne, does the fact I was previously turned down by Vanquis have an impact? Would I be better off going for the CapitalOne as a result?
Also doe both Vanquis and Capital one use Experian and Equifax? And do neither use CallCredit?
Thanks again0 -
I was turned down by Vanquis but accepted for a Capital One Progress card in the same week - go figure!2013 TARGET £30k

Even stranger....Vanquis accepted me in the summer but I withdrew application, so they obviously didn't like the fact that when I reapplied I had another card :rotfl:0 -

Vanquis & Aqua search Experian, Capital One search Experian AND Equifax, Barclaycard search Equifax.
Only the Pre-App check on Barclaycards site uses Call Credit, data on your call credit file is not taken into account during the actual application itself, just Equifax.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
