Hello all,
I am planning on applying for a credit building credit card in the next few months and was interested in what the general consensus was on which is best out of Vanquis, Aquacard and Capital One Classic? And which is considerd easiest to get?
I applied for a Vanquis card about a year ago and was declined (due to missing data on credit report) so was leaning towards applying for either the Aquacard or Capital One.0 -
Vanquis is easier - go for that and Crappy1 - no harm with 2 searches.
Aqua is Halifax and is a little harder than the other two, but then you also have Barclaycard Initial which does a pre-application check using CallCredit before you actually apply (leaves a footprint).
Down side, Vanquis does not give instant decisions - the others can/do...
Good luck and keep us updated on progress.....2010 - year of the troll

Linky here to all those that want to apply! http://applications.bankofcyprus.co.uk/
This one would get 0's like Natwest then? I'm thinking of trying, if I apply now I guess it would be referred, but then they all seem to be referred?
Are they easy acceptance? I might send them £100 by "mistake" see what happens :rotfl: (then ask for it back if they open the account!!:D)0 -
just apply and send the tenner mate - can do no harm lol
