And what they just keep the tenner if they decide no?
No, you get it back. You use your app ref as the transfer ref

    EDIT - from the site

You have decided to provide your initial £10.00 deposit by Electronic Transfer.
This payment should be made from an account in your name if held (e.g. existing current account).
When sending the payment please ensure that you quote as a reference your application reference number.
This reference number will be provided to you when you submit this application.

as I understand it, it also works as an ID check because if you do not have a bank account you have to send it certified copies of your passport etc

I have not used co pilot yet, is it wack?

    Is your phone Vodafone branded?

I have never had any problems with text messages but I did download the update of the. HTC site.

I am going to upgrade to 1.66.405.2 WWE tonight once I have backed up my apps etc

CoPilot isn't bad but it seems pointless being there. If you buy the full version, they send you it on an SD card, same with TomTom.

Mines is from Vodafone but it isn't branded as such.. there is no logos or other useless crap they usually put on their phones.

I had to upgrade using other methods because HTC's site wouldn't accept the serial.

I had problems with my messages loading, it used to take a while to load all of my messages but it seems so much quicker now.

    Goldcard/HSPL?:D

    I purchased mine from http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/Brands/HTC/b509/n447/p27241.aspx#tabsAnchor

700 mins unlimited internet and unlimited texts

    18 months @ £35.00pm

    Unbranded and unlocked.

I still have 2 months left on my Vodafone contract.

900 mins Unlimited texts and Internet

    £25.00pm

Cheers for the £10. I just logged into online banking and noticed someone had deposited £10 a few minutes ago into my account. :rotfl::rotfl:
