JD Williams bumped me right up from £125 to £450 in one go after 2 months! There isn;t a great deal on there that i'd like to get, so can't see there being a balance for very long.
    Next : £615/£1500 // JD Williams : £23.40/£450 // Vanquis : £190/£250 // Cap1 ?

    Jacamo : £0/£150

  • anyone here able to get a freemans catalogue?

not sure if i should go for it as i have limited credit history

Simliar to me, I tried to order some trainers :rotfl:There is a lot more variety on there tho and their prices are a lot better than JDW!

I've spent just over £1 on mine, but thats because like a dummy I forgot that I had it in my phone, so started texting people lol.
Haha yea I've got a 3 sim I used for internet (50p a day) had to be VERY careful I didn't get them mixed up, as a £3 per MB (or whatever they charge, but that's standard pricing) that would be a VERY expensive bill!

Well my student status is no more, so who do they like more, unemployed or Student!? I'm going to be getting some blatant N Hunter when I do find a job, Student/Unemployed switching, then going to (hopefully!) FT!

Ok here is the situ, my mate wants me to go to Vegas in May for 10 days, have checked Virgin Atlantic and flight is £503 return, I was going to put it on my Vanquis CC, but then thought the APR is almost 50%!! Then my mate said he would loan my £200 or so, and put it on my account (and as I get paid Monday), I was thinking about adding £250 to it, and VOILA!!!

The hotel does not need to be paid til nearer the time, but now, as I have three JD Williams accounts, of which the minimum payments combined add up to about £100, I have left myself short, big time! It means some major cutbacks if I wanna go! What to do, what to do!?

My Three Sim Zero was an absolute lifesaver, as my Orange SIM which I normally use stopped working after newyears, and I had a fall back whilst I waited for Orange to send out a new one. Charges aren't that bad, either.

I'll cancel my Orange contract when it's up and upgrade the SIM Zero to the £15 a month tarrif. The 3G is MUCH faster on my phone when I use the Three SIM instead of Orange.

Yea I find 3's charges better in that my o2 texts are 12.8p or something, when I go over the limit (more with the VAT increase no doubt), 3's are 10p, so that's 3p a text more, which can make quite a difference the amount I'm going over my limit! Just got to get people to add both my numbers to one contact, a lot of them were either making a new contact for me and texting the wrong number (!) or deleting my main number then wondering who I was when I called!! :rotfl:

Nope, on the verge of being thrown out it seems. Course is hell, I'm on the wrong campus (long story!) so that causes problems, as well as having to leave hour & half before each lecture. Missed exam today, apparently I need to attempt each bit, even if I turned up and got 0, to stay on the course until the summer. Never knew that and was only attempting the bits I liked, whoops :rotfl:

Last week I was already about to jump before I was pushed, but was convinced to stay, now it seems I've been pushed anyway (awaiting confirmation, but all my accounts got suspended this afternoon). Ah well, now to try and get hold of a underwriting job!

That's a shame. I'm on a gap year at the moment (Working full time). I love my job and love working, but it's so much more stressful then education. I'm looking forward to going back to being a little less run off my feet come September.

I've applied for Information Systems, but contemplating asking to be moved to Computer Science. I want to be an ICT teacher.
