I'm not sure if this is of interest on this thread, but to anyone looking for a new contract mobile then my hubby just got one from Dialaphone.
His is an iphone on an 18mth contract @ £30 per mth with Orange.
This is a big surprise considering we have a very 'questionable' credit file and he was turned down by both O2 and Vodaphone.
Apparently companies have a 'quota' to fill every month (esp in January) and accept a few sub-prime applicants to help fill this.

haha - I should be on sale of the century (showing my age now!)... but seriously, just checked out those mobile phone sites that buy them (I have a N96 & N97 for sale) and the thing that disturbs me, yea the prices are ok (£116 & £175), is the fact they don't want the box or attachments - just the phone and battery.

Now call me sad but i'm one of those people that keep boxes for things like that in pristine condition and I never use the headphones etc (why, I use my iPhone for music and my camera for photo's lol) so why don't they want them? What a waste - it saddens me.

I may chuck them both on eBay as a one deal - highest bid gets them both, but chances are they will be won for £12,000 from a loon in Africa! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Haha, yea I keep boxes etc. You could probably sell the headphones etc on their own. Even pristine boxes get a lot (my mate sold his phone box for £20, because of the value it must add to have a lovely box rather than a battered thing!).

Haven't actually appealed that Halifax yet, good job too, I'd have been stuck in the library printing it! (My card was suspended like 5 minutes after the time I was going to go with a friend but didn't, so I'd have got in but not out :rotfl:)

Oh and if I have 1 A&L premier U21 current account, could I open another? They only give 5% up to 1k so wanted to open another one, plus obviously the bonus of the 0's.... Would A&L search me as I'm an existing customer now?

Uni ID. My computer account was suspended (my uni email been bouncing messages and I can't access the blackboard etc) so that means my card would have been blacklisted too, so it would've been interesting getting out!
