I also applied for Aqua at the same time and that was turned down, so looks like theyre the strictest of the 3 sub prime between Vanquis, Cap1 & AquaNext : £615/£1500 // JD Williams : £23.40/£450 // Vanquis : £190/£250 // Cap1 ?

Better than I'll ever get with Cap1 anyway! Are they good with increases? I might try for them....
Hahaha my Capital One statement for this month is currently £0 haha, because I maxed the card out last month and the payment has only just gone through. Thinking of buying my train tickets on it Monday, that's only £12... might be going for some alcohol shopping though.... that would be my last chance to use it this month (23rd is statement date)... how close to the £100 can I get this month, if it involves alcohol shopping I'm thinking quite close...:rotfl:0 -
Can anyone please suggest the most likely Bank that would offer a 'like for like' account swap?
Basically im with Barclays, no OD or anything but it's a full current account, so DD/SO facility and full Visa debit card - but they have been winding me up recently, and their customer service (over the phone) can be highly irritating.
I applied at Lloyds but they said I couldn't apply as I am apparently a discharged Bankrupt- ive certainly never been Bankrupt but was discharged from an IVA 3 years ago so guess they're bundling the 2 together?
So, could someone please recommend me an alternate bank? I really don't want to have to move onto a basic account as they used too (possibly still do) only give out an Electron card which can be a bit of a pain sometimes buying online!
Advice appreciated.,Next : £615/£1500 // JD Williams : £23.40/£450 // Vanquis : £190/£250 // Cap1 ?

Hi Plumber2009,
Thanks for the reply, is there any particular reason? Are they more likely to accept me, of is it a case that the others you've mentioned there are poor?
