No, the Easycash has a Visa Electron card, the Current Account has a full Visa Debit Card, (someone may corrent me) but it means you can pay at pump etc....

I would contact them mate, what you got to lose? They told me over the phone! If I had waited for the letter, I wouldnt have got my card before new year!

Also, my Barclays connect Visa card has contactless technology, I aint used it yet as I dont live in London (only works twice before you have to input PIN anyway - every third transaction you have to input PIN)
Ah, well I'm sure my mate will be needing to pay at pump next time I'm with him, might use that as a reason to try and speed them up!

I read the contactless thing was random (but up to ~10 transactions?). That was a while ago though. Every 3rd seems stupid, you might as well use a normal card!

Maybe I am wrong, who knows, but like I say, I have not had the opportunity to use it as of yet...I know its good only under £10 though :D

Just applied for a Capital One card. It says I was successful, I even had to sign the box on-line.

Then It tells me I should receive the card within 5-7 working days. And the pin should follow. Does this actually mean that I've been accepted or are they taking the p*ss?

I signed the Credit Agreement online but it was referred. If it says you'll actually get the card & PIN then you should've been accepted. I just got told to wait 7-10 days and they'd write to me :)

When it went to the next page, did it tell you've been accepted and the card will be sent to you within 5-7 working days? Or did you get, your application has been referred?

Your limit will most likely be no more than £200 so I wouldn't go buying the caviar just yet.
