I'm finding it really hard at the moment because my 3 year old son is so badly behaved that I can't take him anywhere. It's making both me and my hubby really depressed and we're worried that people are just going to associate us with the behaviour of our son. Does anyone have any good tips on controlling things such as tantrums, getting him to sit and play nicely and just generally not trashing things!!

Well I have cheated a bit and my friend has sent me a photo from her phone and I can just about make him out !! He is still blind so to speak - still it's a good excuse for a pampering session tomorrow. Have got a voucher for a manicure and a pedicure my ex gave me for chrimbo might try to use it tomorrow.

I have just spoken to gumtree pal for an hour on the phone - she is ok about earlier and we had another lovely girlie chat.

Right - early night for me , no black under eyes for my hot date tomorrow.

Hi Lozzle23 welcome to our thread!

I cant help i'm afraid as I dont have children so am pretty clueless with such a big problem, can anyone else help???

Have you done a search on the internet for information that might help?? Also, have you thought about starting your own thread with the title 'badly behaved son' (or something like!) to see if anyone has had the same problems and found solutions?? We're all pretty friendly and helpful so i'm sure someone will be able to help you.

Dont worry too much about what people think. If they werent tutting their disapproval at you, theyd be doing it to someone else!

    Hope this helps
