Hiya, does anyone mind if I butt in/join you?

I agree with lots of you on here, it is such a stigma to be lonely.
I have a few friends but can still feel incredibly lonely at times.
I also think the older you get the harder it becomes.
CC & BNU (((((((()))))))) hugs to you, you sound as though you are having a tough time at the mo.

Hope you welcome me in to join on yur chats!?

  • Hello ebaybaby and BNU!

I jumped in a few pages back ebaybaby so I feel I can say on good authority that no-one minds if you join in the chat! (at least they havn't told me otherwise lol!) Plus if you are not a Scot you help address the balance :p

How are you doing today cc?
I posted this morning a thread about a dilemma... as usual being too much of a pushover and think i've agreed to take on a load of work for no repayment but worried (again, as usual!) about the situation. You mind having a read and let me know what you think? you always seem sensible...!

    Hope everyone is well today!

    Hello to you too!

I'm feeling a little brighter today after a difficult night of negotiations again last night. Just need to tell the friends and family now and decide the money/living arrangements etc.

Shellshocked still slightly, although it's been coming for a long time, but you feel pride in a longlasting marriage and having to admit you have failed despite your best efforts is always hard.

No doubt I'll be online a hell of a lot more soon - so please feel free to come and chat!

    Hi all.

Lucy, i've replied to your thread, sorry its a bit late.

BNU, you havent failed at anything! Some things just dont work anymore. Take comfort in the fact that you are brave enough to admit it doesnt work despite your best efforts to salvage it.

Things with me are ok. My eye/face is a nice shade of red/purple still and hurts like hell but most people have seen it now at work so have stopped asking. I do feel a bit of a chav wandering around lakeside in my lunch hour tho lol

Mum is ok. Very bruised and tired. Brother has been banned from the house when i am there so hopefully i wont have to worry about that happening again.

Really looking forward to the weekend. Hope everyone else is well xxx

  • Hello All,

How are we getting on? Did we all have good weekends?

Mine was good except for getting absolutely soaked in a heavy rain shower when attempting to get out for a walk. Was nowhere near home and it took ages to dry.

  • yeah it is yet to really warm up where I live in the North of Scotland - never really does!!

Think a trip a bit further south or somewhere with a bit of sun is required in the not too distant future!

  • Doh!! Just lost a post!!! Was just saying that we had sunshine as well, is lovely isn't it! I went to Gloucester over the weekend to meet with a couple of old friends and it was lovely, although we didn't do much, just had dinner, some wine and a giggle.

    Hope everyone is well!

  • I went out this weekend for the first time since the new year. My and my mate had a good laugh, especially as we got chatted up by some cute toyboys :rotfl:
