Finally got my a$$ in gear to come in a post in here ~ seem to be in and out all day but never manage to venture past DT and the Arms which is not a good place to be at the moment (my stress levels are fluctuating wildly with the ignorance some people feel the need to share :rolleyes:)

Good for you Badger ~ keep strong and wtg with the one nighter its not a permanent solution but it certainly is a great confidence boost and I'm sure most of us have been there

CG ~ if you can set some house rules for all of you I'm sure it will work out fine. I moved in with my Mum when I first split from my ex. There were times when I felt 16 again (and not in a good way!) but mostly we got on well and I managed to retain most of my independance.

Wannabe ~ hope you're feeling better soon ~ just stop breathing near the pc I can't afford to be ill

CG ~ keep opening them windows and Damp Cottage will be fine ~ air fresheners are an expensive waste of cash ~ just put another jumper on :rotfl:

Hi all, hope we are well.:D

Where has kp gone? Hope she got the school and house sorted out.

Dt and the arms have been a bit stressful of late!! ignorance and back biting all over the place.

Having a roam around but am going to stay out of it for a bit until it dies down. Have been spending far to much time in there anyway.


Mr 4x4 is a wally, acting like a teenager.:eek: Never mind, will miss the trialing because that is fantastic fun. Can live without the emotional c rap though.

Suppose I am not ready for a relationship yet, havent got time anyway.

Hi there, been reading a bit of this thread, I'm a 32 year old male, and was wondering if you could give me some advice.

I'm looking to go on holiday / travel for about 3 weeks on my own, hopefully to meet some new people. Have had a hard time recently over a break up, and am looking to get away to recharge my batteries, meet new people, clear my head etc.

Have any of you been on holiday/travelled alone?
if so could you suggest any good websites or travel companies which deal with the single person. I've done google searches, but prefer recommendations from people.

I have heard really good things about Solo's holidays - was going to go on one myself earlier in the summer. They have a chat type forum so you can find out what kind of people have booked to go on the holiday etc and arrange a lot of social events around the UK.

Well girls (and honorary girls)

The one night stand is now a two night stand and I even got a bowl of alpen for breakfast. Not fussed if it's going anywhere - he's 10 years younger and really cute but I'm just having fun and remembering how good I was feeling before the rat came into my life !

Rat called constantly for 3 hours lastnight - in the end I answered and got a load of classic self indulgent cr*p - saying he missed me so much he couldn't breathe eat or sleep and asked me to go and pick him up and take him back as he loved me not the ex , saying he'd never let me down and I'd never regret it if I went - told him I couldn't as had had a drink plus I didn't want to as I don't trust him , told him he made his choice and he has to live with it. He said I'd become really cold , I just said it's called self preservation and switched the mobile off.

Have got my date arranged for Saturday - been chatting on the phone a few times and texting and he is rather nice - believe me I am so going to be less trusting as a result of the rat, but not to the point where I'm not a nice badger.

Job hunt not fruitful yet but a few good things applied for so fingers crossed that will be sorted soon too.

Just back from seeing a job agency and lunch with a friend - could so get used to this lady of leisure stuff - just need to find a rich man to pay the mortgage

I hope everyone is having a faberooni day - the sun is shining here in Sunderland and badger feels :j
