Mr 4x4 sounds gorgeous and sweet ~ I'm sure we are attracted to similar types, hopefully its only the good stuff that is similar though and not the lousy stuff that made the relationship fall apart in the end!
He wanted to watch the rally driving and I wanted to go and meet some friends, He agreed to go and meet the friends,
Its gloomy here but there is some blue sky on the horizon,:D hoping its going to turn nice have a MOUNTAIN of washing to do.
I tell my friends to enjoy the toddler stage they so quickly turn into surly, lazy teens. Ask them a question and get a grunt back.:rotfl: Not forgeting I am 18 now and a grown up:rotfl: were we like that at 18?probably:rotfl:

I have to laugh about the grumpy teens - I like teens its toddlers I can't stand! Give me a room full of teens over a room full of toddlers any day!
Oh I wish he were a teen, I could plug him into MSN and go shopping without him!
Mind you he's at nursery now...The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
Have to agree with you about that one KP. Don't know how anyone copes with toddlers - far too much work. My boy can be a tad grumpy at times but he's an angel compared to when he was 3! (though to be fair to him that when I started seeing my ex, and they never did get on very well.....)0

hi all,
interesting thread here. I'm not sure if it is appropriate for my query though, but didn't want to start a new thread incase it has been covered before. Basically I am still quite young (25) and just looking to make friends, possibly more and not necessarily in the area I live (its quite remote). Does anyone have any recommendations for online meeting places or groups? Preferably free ones - this is MSE after all!D'Oh!0 -
What kind of friends? Just online ones? What area are you in? I assume that although it is quite remote where you live you are relatively close to somewhere larger and more heavily populated!
Welcome to our thread btw“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

hi, i live in the remote scottish isles so not really close to anywhere highly populated! Don't get me wrong I have friends here but just would like a wider group of friends and possibly stronger relationships and the only way I see that possible is to find them online. Just looking for some forums or online groups were I can find these - all the ones I can find seem to charge!D'Oh!0

If you like a particular author it's quite a good idea to check to see if they have forums on their websites. I assume they're free, and at least you'll know that they share some of the same interests as yourself.0 -

Couttsy -hi, you can always meet people here on mse, though there are alot of friendly sites out there i would be careful as there are also some unfriendly ones. me settling in now to mse as there are alot of lovely people here.

KP - Your OH does sound like a bit of an ***, he doesnt really sound like he is very grown up when around your DS, bringing him to the pub, etc.. go away and enjoy yourself.
i had an ex that was a pain in the b***, he was very violent and would always take things out on me.

Hi guys
Finally I have washed Ironed desanded everything - I can see why people get incleaners etc not that my house is scank but after 2 wks it all needs a blooming good clean. I feel like I have been home forever and It was only this time last week I returned - bummer eh.
So much has happened to you all again.
Lots of us have got rubbish OH's or potentials.
Mine has managed to not lift a single finger since he returned.
We also had the first wedding since ours last year and I found it really hard especially as we are still on very shaky ground and I am still trying to get him to come with me to relate.Did have a minor breakthrough last night when watching the chase (everything happens for a reason eh)
Anyway it seems loads of you are having a good/bad blip we need some sun it feels like flipping winter.
I am going to go and put on some trashy music and have a boogie around my lounge with the music nice and loud and cheer myself up before neighbour get home.
love to you all
