OP it's entirely up to you when you put your tree and deccies up. That is the beauty of having your own place. You can do whatever you want. Enjoy. I have already noticed a few decs appearing in a few windows, I'm sure some people will sneer at them but so what?. I usually do mine in the 1st week of December but they don't usually last until 12'th night as they get a bit battered and dusty before then.As far as cards go, very organised people start sending them out at the beginning of December. Obviously if you see people every day you will probably wait for a little while. Anyway last posting day is usually around the 16th for 2nd class[ sorry, not sure if they still do 2nd class.]0

my sister has just put up her tree today! apparently b&q have all their christmas stuff at half price so once she'd bought the tree and baubles she couldn't resist putting it up! she has a second tree for another room which will go up next weekend. I am going to be putting mine up next sunday, i like to have it up for the whole of december, it cost me money so why not make the most of it i say!0

When I was a kid we always put the tree up on Chrtistmas eve and took it down on 12th night.0

We usually put it up the weekend before but the 12th night thing should be Christmas Eve and then down by 5th Jan. The tradition used to be that the tree would be put up on Christmas Eve when the children had gone to bed and then it would be there all exciting and glittery when they got up on Christmas Day. I think this year we will put it up on the 20th (Sunday) as I'll be at work during the week and it's Christmas Day on Friday.GC Jan £318/£350, Feb £221.84/£300, Mar £200.00/£250 Apr £201.05/£200 May £199.61/£200 June £17.25/£200
